Can the shock probes on the collar be taken out? When they are out, does the tone/ beep still work?

Does this have a shock function or just the vibrate and beep?

This collar does not include a shock option. It features vibration and tone.

It says that you can track them up to 9 MI, how far can you nick or vibrate them?

So will the geofence work without needing my phone on me?

The Geo-Fence requires a smartphone for the notification since it does not auto-correct the e-collar. The automatic e-collar correction will only work on the E-Fence. A smartphone or GPS connection is not needed to operate the E-Fence but the track information and application notification will not be received.

Great Tracking Collar for the price

Been using for a few weeks so far. It’s helped my upland hunting a lot since. I’ve been able to see when my dog points when she is out of sight or behind cover and

Been using for a few weeks so far. It’s helped my upland hunting a lot since. I’ve been able to see when my dog points when she is out of sight or behind cover and helps me get to more quail. Batter life has been excellent so far. Getting about 2-3 hunts per charge but probably could so more but I tend to charge once below 30%. Some people complain about using a phone for the map but personally haven’t noticed any issues and I tend to be able to get quicker corrective actions or map viewing then my friend who uses the nice Garmin setup.

Dog doesn’t mind it

I actually haven’t used the vibrate or stim features yet. But my dog seems unbothered by it as I condition him to wearing it. And the GPS function works great.

Great for hunting, but not training

Really love this product to hunt with. Easy to find your dog's general whereabouts when looking at my smart watch and cool to see your dogs stats on the mobile app

Really love this product to hunt with. Easy to find your dog's general whereabouts when looking at my smart watch and cool to see your dogs stats on the mobile app. The remote also beeps if far away from the connected phone gives reassurance incase you drop the remote in the field. I have not tried the E-fence feature enough to comment but first couple times it is easy to set up. Great for camping or on the go and setting boundaries for your dog in new or old place. However only downside is the collar is best for hunting not training. the remote features only one button and you have to change the settings on your phone or watch. Compared to a remote with multiple function and dial for levels your able to capture and correct behaviors whereas trying to change the function button you may have already missed the window of opportunity. Also, for hunting especially waterfowl, switching out the orange collar was something I did immediately
