My chickens left most of this in the feeder.

They did not lie most of what is in this feed. They wouldn't eat the whole white peas at all and pecked through their feed to get to the 20% protein pelleted feed

I mix this with wild bird seeId food to put ins my tree feeders and I sprinkle it on the ground all around the ranch for the wild quail and other birds that are ground feeders. Works great and gives them variety and it stretches my bird food budget. Plus I have hundreds of very happy and healthy quail running around.

The red dye makes poop look like blood

The extruded bits are dyed with red dye. The birds poop looked like blood and scared me. I took the food away and poop was normal. The peas are too big for gamebirds

Nice variety of seed and grain

My small flock enjoy the variety in this feed. It’s a bit more expensive so I mix it with a more typical scratch.

Ok I said that the 19.5 feed was my fave, but forgot about this one. It's actually the top feed and I use it sparingly. I love that the protein content is so high, I can add it as a treat to their pellets and it's not "junk food" like chicken scratch (which is mostly corn and carb based fillers.) Don Roberto = best of the best.

Beautiful Feed

I really love this feed, and my chickens go crazy for it. It's like crack for them. This food has an awesome mix and it is clean and virtually dust free. It's great

I really love this feed, and my chickens go crazy for it. It's like crack for them. This food has an awesome mix and it is clean and virtually dust free. It's great for a treat but keep in mind, for laying hens you will need to provide extra calcium on the side for them. The only downfall of this food is the price! I wished it was more affordable for me.

Looks good

It looked great to me, but my chickens aren’t wild about it. There’s a bean in the mix that they positively won’t eat. We planted some and they sprouted.
