While it’s important to be cautious whenever supplementing pets diet, this is great to have on hand for times your pet is sniffly or sneezy. My cat has FeLV so this and Lysine are my first line of defense against flare ups! For those who don’t know, Feline Leukemia Virus means a cat is immunocompromised-they have less defense against germs and illness-so are likely to get ill more frequently and far worse than a healthy cat would. For a FeLV cat, a long, healthy life can seem like a coin toss. Basically, you want their FelV status to stay in the regressive stage rather than the progressive stage where their odds diminish rapidly. However, their odds increase greatly if you can A) reduce the risk of flare ups (colds, fevers, etc can trigger FeLV flare up where health can deteriorate quickly) by keeping them healthy, safe, and in low stress environments INDOORS and always away from other cats who are sick or even healthy (FeLV is very contagious to other cats) . And B) keeping their immune system sharp by keeping an eye on things like ear and gum color, coat condition, etc and getting labs every so often (their bodies may even rid itself of the virus, especially in young cats or early stages, so always good to check) My cat is now 2, I’ve given her daily Lysine since she was 6mos and she’s had no flare ups yet, but she did start sneezing off and on all day recently when the weather got colder, so I gave her half a scoop of this and the next day no more sneezes! For a FeLV cat, this is a game changer and a LIFESAVER! If I can give it to her at first sign of lowered immunity, I’ll have a much better shot at keeping her from flare ups and her reaching old age! AND the fact it’s buffered and with no additives is even safer! TIP: she won’t touch food with this so I add powder to 1/2 TSP water, stir, then syringe into mouth. ALSO: be careful not to overdo it- dogs and cats can’t have too much of many supplements without throwing their whole system out of whack. Vit C is great to give every so often in small doses, but may cause bladder or kidney issues if giving too much or too often.

Amazing!

My great dane puppy had a horrible case of knuckling. After some research, we decided to add this to his diet. Within a couple of days it was resolved! As he grows
