Dr. Maggie's ointment works great for my Pitbull. She has a few allergies and I just rub some ointment between her toes and the next day, her feet are itch free. It is lickable, so I don't have to worry if she would injest any of the ointment. Great product!
Was very hard to squeeze out good medicine once you got it out of the tube
My cat had horrible chin acne that wouldn't go away and kept getting worse with all the scratching. I wanted to avoid a trip to the vet, which would not only cause my cat horrible stress, but would not be budget-friendly. After doing some research and reading reviews, I decided to give this product a try. My cat, of course, was not a fan of having this rubbed on her chin every day. Despite her protests, I could tell a difference after 7 days. Within 3 weeks - no chin acne, no scratching! Success!! I use this whenever I feel a skin bump or where she has an itch (except near the eyes or in the ears). No return of the chin acne after it cleared up. Also,my cat never had a reaction from grooming anfmd consuming whatever amount she did. HIGHLY recommend!!
One of my cats has a flea allergy. She does a lot of biting and ends up with sores. This ointment worked great. Helped heal the sores and I wasn't worried that it would harm her if she did lick it.
My kitty got into something and had a pretty bad cut. Ive been using this on her and wrapping it up. Its been preventing infection and healing up well! Like other reviews it was not squeezable out of the tube when I first got it. I fixed this by sticking a wooden skewer into the hole and mixed it around, this fixed the problem
I was skeptical that this would bring relief to my poor kitty. I was wrong, it works very well and as soon as its applied my cat stopped scratching. The only downside is that my cat doesn't like me applying it. The ointment is wonderful, I put it on the raw spot near her eye and it seemed to heal quickly. I would have given 5 stars except because my cat hates to be sprayed, I can't use it as much as directed. It's also lickable so no worries about her ingesting something dangerous.
I care for several kitties outside and our Siamese, Mocha, had several sores. I believe from scratching and over grooming. I was able to fix those issues with other products, extra love and attention. This ointment cleared his wounds within 2 days, applied once a day. I had no issues squeezing it out of the tube as is. Very happy!
I didn't have any trouble getting it out of the tube. The tube isn't half empty either. I'm not sure why another reviewer had those problems. I started using it today so I can't if it solved the skin problem yet. I think it will. I would recommend.
Great cream. Really helps. Would definitely recommend it for dogs with skin allergies
I was super excited to try this for my cat because if he licked it off, it wouldn't hurt him. However, the tube was hard to use, and the ointment was very thick. The tube was only 1/2 full too. All and all no success at easing my cat's itch either. Gave it 2 stars because it's nontoxic and smelled good.
