My 13 year old cat had a terrible issue on her back end. She is also very sensitive and would have shut down completely with a traditional Elizabethan collar. This collar was perfect! She could not reach her back end to lick the wound and with the help of several vets, she is on the mend. Full disclosure: she has always has had a hard time reaching her rear end due to being slightly overweight (12lbs). This collar was enough to stop her completely.

Cute, But Useless

Am preparing for Charlie's upcoming surgery and wanted a soft alternative to a plastic Elizabethan collar...thought this was a great alternative - it IS a cute design

Am preparing for Charlie's upcoming surgery and wanted a soft alternative to a plastic Elizabethan collar...thought this was a great alternative - it IS a cute design with soft and sturdy fabric! The problem is that the opening is not only too small, the drawstring has no flex that would allow adjusting the fit...IF you could get a head through the opening! Since it's advertised for dogs and cats-medium size-, figured a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel's head would qualify...it won't! (the opening measures 3.5 inches across, for those considering to purchase).

Perfect and comfy for my little girl

My little girl got diarrhea out of the blue and chewy recommended this to prevent her from irritating her rear end even more while the vets ran testing and we got her on a new diet. This was so soft and comfortable for her compared to the old school plastic ones. Turns out all her testing and a few thousand dollars later, Stormy needed a diet change and she’s doing much better and back to herself. I keep this in her carrier in case I ever need it. The size was perfect for her 13lb weight ( I know she’s chunky but she’s happy and adorable). I love chewy and appreciate the recommended come for her.

Got this for my cat who started over grooming when her sister passed away. It works very well especially for the price and it isn't too obtrusive that it's hard

Got this for my cat who started over grooming when her sister passed away. It works very well especially for the price and it isn't too obtrusive that it's hard for her to eat or drink. She is still able to get around to her legs and tail but it definitely hinders her and it has allowed for her skin to clear up some.
