This mousse is not toxic if a pet licks it after application. It is recommend to let the product dry as long as possible to increase its effectiveness.

My cat had several fleas bites on her neck. She was all scabby and raw. The Chewy on line vet advised that my cat was having an allergic reaction to fleas. Even though flea meds were administered, my cat was still scratching and having a reaction. Applying this foam lotion helped. I applied 2pumps daily or every other day. Rubbed it in well. After a few days I already saw improvement in her skin. I continued to groom her with a flea comb to help remove crusty skin. Reason 4 stars. Dosing instructions on bottle are vague and confusing. Pumps by weight didn’t seem right. I probably under dosed to be safe. With consistent treatment product worked. Product is light. Dries quick. No smell. Not sticky. I recommend for cat skin irritations. My cat’s inflamed skin was pretty servere and this product helped.

So far, so good - and it's really good!

Our smooth-coated fox terrier mix has been battling the itchies for several weeks. Bathing with skin-soothing shampoos helps (except that she HATES baths). Desperate, I tried a coconut oil based lotion, which seemed to help a little, for a little while. (Like, some relief from constant scritching, for a few hours.) This mousse arrive today, and after her walk when all was calm, I gave her a good massage with it. She loved the attention (of course), and settled into the balm...and cuddled up next to me vs. heading to a carpeted pad to scritch and rub. She sleeping calmly without scratching herself. I am hopeful that this will work for us. We do not mind the scent - we are more focused on the fact that her skin irritations seem to be much calmer. She's getting good sleep, uninterrupted by the itchies. Yay.

My long haired dachshund gets in a cycle of licking his paws. I used to use the serum, it was hard to apply evenly. He has long hair, even in his paws (i keep them trimmed on the bottom). The foam is very easy to apply. I pump it into the cap and apply a little at a time at each setting. This works great to calm his skin and stop the cycle of constant licking. It smells great too.

There is no reason that any product, especially those made for pets should be tainted with lab created, artificial, so-called fragrance. My pets, my hands, my house all smell like some toxic fake coconut scent as foul as anything that comes from dollar store shelves.
