I can't confirm the anti itch claim as they both have allergies - it did seem to help but not completely. I have used other Douzo products with success and like them. For anyone confused as to how to pronounce the name, as I was, it's "Doo-zho". French company.

My dog is allergic to flea bites and it causes her to get extremely itchy if she is bitten. We do a very good job of keeping our pets free of fleas, but we take our dogs outside to play and for bathroom breaks, so the stray flea here and there is inevitable. In the past, we tried a Burt's Bees calming shampoo, which didn't do much. My husband bought another brand this last time our dog got a flea, and it actually made her itching so much worse that she scratched bald patches into her fur. After a few days of seeing how raw her skin was, I had enough and told my husband I was buying this because I read it was good. He balked at the price, as men often do, but stayed quiet. The hour this product arrived, I bathed my dog. Her skin automatically looked much less irritated. By the time she air dried off, she stopped itching those patches. They healed up and grew hair in faster than previous times, probably because it actually took care of her itching. Save your money by not buy 10 different cheap shampoos that will not work. Just buy this.

Smell is So Pleasant

After swimming in saltwater pool, I apply conditioner, instead of the shampoo. I prefer to change it up. The only drawback is it has to remain on him for 3 minutes,

Mild fragrance, rinsed out quickly and thoroughly

I have 8 dogs, 4 Chi mixes, 3 GSDs and a Border Collie mix. They all get itchy/scratchy in winter from the dry heat which is why I chose this particular formula

I have 8 dogs, 4 Chi mixes, 3 GSDs and a Border Collie mix. They all get itchy/scratchy in winter from the dry heat which is why I chose this particular formula. I used this product on the 4 Littles. 2 look like terriers and 2 have smooth Chi coats. This product has a very mild, coconut fragrance that was natural rather than chemical which we all liked. It lathered up quickly and did a great job getting them all clean. It rinsed out very easily and thoroughly leaving almost no fragrance. We all really appreciated that. It left all of their coats soft and shiny. I would highly recommend this product if you want super easy usage and without an overpowering fragrance.

Great product! Our little Belle has dry, itchy skin and seasonal allergies. She is also not fond of a bath. So when I bathe her, it needs to count. This will be our new shampoo. It lathers beautifully and rinses out easily. It has a nice clean scent and is not overly perfumed. And, best of all, our little one was much more comfortable and itching less almost immediately. Highly recommend this shampoo.

A carefully controlled diet and Apoquel are still not match the record-breaking pollen counts in Georgia this year. This shampoo lathers up well & has a good scent. I like that you can see how much shampoo is left in the bottle. It definitely took more than I expected to wash our smaller dog! Massaged it in for five minutes before rinsing. It seems to be helping so far. I only bathe them once a month, so I'm not sure how long the soothing effects will last.
