How many drops of the ear wash is recommended per dose? No where on the directions is this listed. How many drops are others using? Thank you in advance!

It's recommended to apply a small amount of this product around the openings of the ear canals. Massage the base of your pets ears to distribute the solution into the ear canals. Then, remove the excess liquid with a soft tissue.

This product was recommended by a friend. But looking at the ingredients I fount tee tree, I thought teatree was toxic to dogs?
Answer by ChewyJan 22, 2021
Tea tree oil is a natural essential oil with curative properties that help soothe and protect dogs' skin. When used correctly and in a diluted form on pets, tea tree oil can be very effective in treating and preventing topical bacterial and yeast/fungal infections. Research shows tea tree oil is safe for dogs and cats and effective only when it is diluted correctly – i.e., diluted in large amounts of water. The recommended ratio is 0.1-1.0 percent strength, to be dispensed topically. Oral application of tea tree oil is not safe for your pet.

Ear Sadness

I bought this in hopes of it working as advertised, not the case I'm afraid. The dry treatment just made a huge mess never turned to a fine powder. The rinse, let me say I'm sitting here now with my dog as she is literally crying. Whimpering from whatever it is doing to her ear. She wants to scratch claw shake her head you name it to get this out. Just a big fat NO.

Vet’s Best is the Best

I’ve been using this on my Yorkie for a couple years now & it’s the right choice for me because you can really use enough to hear it when you massage the ear folded; then you can use the one to dry it and it only takes a pea size and it does the trick! you have to clean around the inside right after you use the dry one or it will leave the ear too dry all around on the inside, not in the ear hole just around inside! i love it!

Best ear cleaner

I absolutely love this ear cleaner. It works great and is gentle on the dog's sensitive ear tissue. It also has a pleasant scent!

Smells good

I got this cause my dog has a very bad, smelly ear. We've tried everything and I mean EVERYTHING. I got this cause I liked the idea of it drying the yeast in her ear but unfortunately it didn't work.

vets best ear wash

I'm sure this is a good product but perhaps my dog is just sensitive to the ingredients. It actually made him scratch at his ears even more. I tried it on 2 separate occasions but both times I ended up rinsing his ears with another ear cleanse to clean this stuff out.

Smells weird

The cleaning is ok but my dog ends up smelling weird especially if I use both. Not crazy about the drying solution.

Soothing and great cleaner

So let me start by saying that our doodle HATES having his ears groomed or cleaned. This ear cleaner worked great for him when he had been scratching at his ears. Great instructions are on the bottle, I followed the suggestion to soak a cotton ball with the cleaner and then squeeze that into his ears - made it much easier to get the cleaner in and without a fight. The cleaner works great and the after treatment seemed to really soothe his ears. No more scratching!

Doesn’t Clean As Described

I bought this cleaner for my standard poodle’s ears, and it does absolutely nothing. I’m really disappointed because I was so hopeful. I used ear cleaner my mom had purchased for her standard and used it after trying to use this, and my girl’s ears were very brown. It came out basically clear using this cleaner. Would not recommend.
