Is this good for dandruff

DOUXO S3 Calm helps manage pruritus and inflamed skin associated with allergies. It is formulated to soothe and hydrate the skin. It detangles the fur and leaves the hair coat soft and shiny. We recommend the DOUXO S3 SEB line instead, which is specially formulated to reduce excess sebum and dandruff, strengthen the skin barrier, maintain skin hydration and prevent fungal overgrowth that is common in such conditions.

How often can I use this? Is twice a week too often?

DOUXO S3 CALM shampoo and mousse are meant to be used together in a clinically proven and consumer-friendly protocol. Use one pump of shampoo for every 4 pounds of body weight. Double the dosage for long and/or thick fur. Wet with cool water from the neck down. First, gently massage shampoo onto the problem area. Repeat on the entire body and leave on for 5-10 minutes before rinsing. Repeat if necessary. Refer to the chart below for usage directions:

It didn’t look like a lot of shampoo for my big dog, but it really worked well and spread good. He has bad allergies and his skin was really getting and flaky,

By the second time his skin was shiny again and so soft from it I didn’t even have to use aconditioner and I just kept brushing in the flakes eventually just has gone away After the shampoo. I am very happy with the purchase.

This is a great shampoo for sensitive skin -it reduces itching, coat looks good

I have shown Irish Setters for 50+ years and every other shampoo risked causing a drying reaction and required a conditioner to be able to manage his feathering

I have shown Irish Setters for 50+ years and every other shampoo risked causing a drying reaction and required a conditioner to be able to manage his feathering. This shampoo does not need a conditioner. On the down side it doesn’t help to whiten my Brittany’s coat- but it does what I want - it decreases scratching because it helps his skin.

This shampoo is definitely worth the price! My chihuahua has allergies and needs a monthly injection, I bathe her every so often with this shampoo and I can tell it helps calm her skin. It’s looks less red and irritated after. I recently recused a stray long haired chihuahua, turns out he has allergies too, and bathe him with this shampoo, his fur felt so soft unlike before. This shampoo displays immense results!

A little goes a long way and this stuff really works for my Bichon with seasonal skin allergies. I have to do other things too but shampooing him 2x a week has been really helpful. The itch goes away for days. The only reason I did not give it the full five stars is because it leaves his hair a little sticky feeling. Still, a small to pay. And yes, I rinse it out really well. Maybe it is because I have soft water.
