Will this work on model 8220

This nail guard fits the Dremel 7300-PGK cordless rotary tool and the 7700, 8100, 8220, 3000, 4000 and 4300 rotary tools.

Is this attachment a "guard" to keep your dogs hair from becoming caught/tangled?

This attachment allows you to quickly, easily and gently trim your pet's nails. This guard was designed for a quicker and smoother grooming experience. It also protects you and your pet from nail dust.

Will this work with the 7300-PT Nail Grinder?

The Dremel AT01-PGK pet grooming nail guard attachment is not compatible with the Dremel model 7300 rotary tool because the housing cap is not removeable on the tool. Not all versions of the 7300 have a removable nose piece.

Can you get the dogs nail close enough to the grinder to do anything on a toy dog? Most of these are more for a med dog with longer nails.

This product can be used on all dogs and cats, and is equipped with a paw guide.

Less Nerve-Wracking Than a Clipper

Our chocolate lab has dark paws so its hard to see where the quick starts. This tool has been awesome. He doesn't mind me doing his nails. Thats important as using teh Dremel does take a lot longer than clipers. But its worth it. I haven't nipped his quick ever using this tool.

not compatible with 7300 PT

Disappointed because they’re both 7300 but after much trouble, the 7300 attachment doesn’t work with the 7300-PT that I have. Where that little arrow is should twist
