No Enticing or Acclimation Period Needed
Ordinarily, my cat is reluctant to get into anything new. I figured I was going to have to entice him by placing some treats inside the cave. I went to the kitchen to get his freeze-dried salmon treats and then headed back into the living room. Sure enough, there he was already in the bed. Now I have a different problem. How do I get him out? Only kidding, but he does appear to like it very much because it has been five minutes and he is knocked out cold.

At 13 years of age my tree dweller had always loved towers but also a “hovel or fort” created with pillows and blankets on couch - now she has the best of her cozy house on the couch.. she gives this a 5 PAWS UP rating and I as her servant give the same as the price is best and quality same as some others much more money. Get one now!
Best deal for price
This was one of the least expensive cave cat beds but a great deal. Size and quality are good. No reason to need to pay for the more expensive options. My cats love it. There was only 1 color available when I purchased. Not the one I really wanted but I've made it work and the color is as advertised.
Nice surprise for Mocha!
Don’t really know what I was expecting, but this is a very high quality cat cave, so much so I’m back for another one. My cat loves this and with the cooler weather I know she can keep it warm with her body heat. This summer, I will flatten it as suggested and use it for a sleeping mat for her. The cat loves the felted wool and this bed would serve a small dog too with its generous size. Nice price point too! I saw many others at a higher price and decided to get this. For once, I had a nice surprise. You can’t go wrong with the quality, price, and even my persnickety cat loves this thing! Go ahead and order one.

Our cat was a little suspicious at first but once she decided it wasn't a threat she crawled right in and started purring. She loves wool and having new spaces to tuck herself away for napping. Pumpkin loves her new hiding spot :)
Great quality and the cat loves it
The quality and size is better than expected given it was cheaper than others offered on the market. Thick sturdy walls and looks nice in my home. The cat loves it too. He has a nice place to himself to curl up and tuck away.
Wrong cat loves it!
I bought this for one of my cats that stays outside a lot. He did not seem interested so I brought it in and one of my other cats has claimed it. She loves it.
Has potential to be fabulous but....that SMELL!
The bed itself is really nice but it SMELLED horribly of what might be moth proofing which from what I understand is toxic so I have not been able to let my kitties use it. They wouldn't go into it anyway when I showed them because of the smell. If it were not for that I would have given a much better review, but that awful smell just negates everything.
