Can I add this to their kibble?

It is recommended to add this supplement to wet food, unless the dog eats everything with no issues. We recommend to add water to the dry food which is also more healthier for dogs or it can be put it in some yogurt or some pet friendly broth.

The vet says Topaz needs to lose weight so I bought this. The first time I tried to mix it in her wet food it made her food stiff so I had to put more food to make it pliable. Then I thought I would mix it into her food then let it sit so it would absorb but when I went to give it to her it was as stiff as a rock so I thought if that is what it does to her food think of what it will do to her insides, I couldn't possibly think of giving it to her, it was a waste of money!

My little Rue is a portly gal. She is a previous stray and just can’t say no to any morsel of food. We have tried various low fat diets, low carb, vegetarian, supplements, increased exercise and nothing really made much of a difference. (As well as a veterinary work up to make sure it wasn’t her thyroid etc) We tried two weight loss supplements, a chewable and this powder and i definitely preferred this one. Easy to administer, palatable and more bang for your buck as well as healthier ingredients. I’m just not sure we saw any promising results. We followed the directions based off of her current weight to desired weight. And calculated her caloric intake, taking into consideration treats and kcal of her supplements. She maintained her weight but didn’t lose any over a 3 month long period. She does like the flavor of the powder, due to its high fiber content you have to add quite a bit of water to it or it becomes a little gelatin-like. I also made them into frozen treats by mixing the powder with bone broth and freezing them in cube trays. We gave it a try, she liked the flavor but I’m unsure if we will continue to purchase.

Gentle and effective

It helps my dog maintain his weight- but does not give him so much energy that he is zooming around the house. Gives endurance when we walk and helps build his stamina

Does what it says

I was hesitant this wouldn’t work. But I had an overweight dog (94 pounds who needed to be around 75lbs).. as she aged, her metabolism slowed and her activity level

I was hesitant this wouldn’t work. But I had an overweight dog (94 pounds who needed to be around 75lbs).. as she aged, her metabolism slowed and her activity level. She can’t walk as far anymore, so she could only lose so much weight with exercise. I tried this, and by our next vet visit 6 months later, she was down to 80 pounds. I now give her half the dose for her weight every other day to maintain.
