Never met a dog that wouldn't take one of these little nuggets! They have almost a maple-like smell to me (from the fenugreek) so not a gross fishy odor. But they must taste darned good. Love that it's not wasted calories on junk food - these are good enough to replace a meal, they're dog FOOD not treats - and really love that the dogs are so into it. They are hard nuggets so good in pockets, don't flake apart or melt. You can't break them in half though.

That it was air dried and a seafood, which jasper usually loves seafood

Jasper did not like this at all. Even put warm water but still no go. He loves the freeze dried so not sure what he didnt like about this. Oh well
