I've been a horse trainer for over 25 years. Tried all the fly sprays. My favorite was always the one in the yellow bottle, you know the one. But some horses couldn't tolerate it and would have reactions to it. I also don't love how much I'm inhaling and absorbing through my skin on a daily basis. Someone at the ranch was using this one, and it smells FANTASTIC! Just like Christmas. YES, it's strong, but only for the first couple minutes. And it WORKS! I now use it to repel mosquitoes around my back porch, and to keep the flies and mosquitoes away from my chicken coop and run. My only complaint is I can't get it in a gallon refill, as I go through a bottle every other day at work.

I'd Give 5 Stars if the Fly Spray Bottle Itself Wasn't Complete Trash

This is a great natural fly spray, it really helps deter the flies from biting my horses, but every single time I buy a new bottle, the pump literally breaks after

This is a great natural fly spray, it really helps deter the flies from biting my horses, but every single time I buy a new bottle, the pump literally breaks after the first or second pump! Arghhhhh! To make things worse, there's a lock on the cap (so the sprayer doesn't open in transit), BUT you can't unscrew it to transfer the fly spray to another bottle, you literally have to snap the top off, which isn't that easy...

Highly recommend EcoSMART fly repellent. Very effective, very pleasant to use, wonderful natural spicy fragrance, I have used it on 4 horse camping trips in the woods so far this year,lots of compliments and questions from other riders/campers because of the fragrance and effectiveness of the spray. I would suggest that you do not spray in an enclosed area because of the alcohol base. Depending on conditions of heat, humidity etc you might have to reapply as needed which is usual with other fly repellents. So glad to have a non toxic alternative fly spray, very pleased with this horse bug spray !

Great clove scent

I don’t usually buy natural fly sprays but this one actually works! My horse is so miserable in summer he’s basically unrideable unless I use this fly spray.

Horse hates it

While I applaud the natural ingredients used, this doesn't work that well on my horse. It works in the stable. The smell is pungent and my horses hates it!

Spray is fine however it arrived a little over 1/2 full which in my opinion is ridiculous. It’s already a much smaller bottle than the average fly spray. No apparent
