    Urinary Tract Cat Treats

By Gandy on Jan 29, 2021

My cat, Gandy, is very picky eater and has feline urinary tract disease. First time I gave Gandy one treat from Emerald Pet Feline Health Urinary Track Support Grain Free Cat Treats, he liked it and wanted more. After that time, Gandy would chew one and spit it out. I tried giving him one 2-3 times but it seems like the treats were too hard for him to chew or he did not like the taste of them. I discontinued giving them to him and plan to donate the rest to his vet next time he has vet visit to keep in his/her office for other cats. I gave rating of one star but I am sure other cats might like the treats better.

I wish the cats liked this

By Carrie on Dec 31, 2020

I have 7 cats - and as most cat owners go through, if they feed dry food, is that a couple of my cats have been struggling with UTIs. I've used d-mannose powder, I use the homeopathic UTI drops on their wet food, I've added water to their canned food, I've incorporated RAW cat food supplements to both their dry and wet foods and offer the RAW toppers as treats. I had hoped the cats would take to this treat, adding one more level of care or defense to my overall healthy strategy. The cats hated these treats. My daughter would force-feed, open mouth and insert/massage neck, as if we were dosing a pill, to the one cat currently struggling w a UTI. I will not buy again.

    didn't like

By smudge on Jan 25, 2021

My cat will not eat these treats. my cat is on a veterinarian diet and can only have food/treats for urinary care. We always get the Royal Cain treats for urinary health but it has been out of stock for a few months so we tried these. He refused to eat them. Do you know when the Royal Cain will be back in stock???

    Once was enough

By Mandu on Nov 18, 2020

I thought I should use UT treats for our 17 yr old cat who is on a UT diet and now also needs thyroid meds. The Pill Pockets work for that little pill but only if he's distracted by a treat which has to be soft. He ate one of these UT treats then would have nothing to do with them. Not a bad product; just sadly didn't work for our cat.

    Healthy substitute for Temptations

By Vicki on Nov 5, 2020

Two years after an operation for bladder stones, my finicky cat (who loves and yells for Temptations) once again has urinary crystals. She was put on a special urinary diet, and the vet said Temptations were a no-no. So I bought all the available urinary diet-friendly cat treats, including this one. So far, thank goodness, she likes them!

Emerald Pet Feline Health Urinary Treats a Hit!

By Greenies on Oct 13, 2020

My special needs kitty, who is on a special diet to control urinary stones, LOVES these treats! I was hesitant at first to try these as some reviews stated they caused their cats to vomit. I try to limit my guy to 4-8 a day but he is crazy for them and so far no tummy issues. Unfortunately, he is rejecting the prescription treats, but he eats his prescription food with vigor. I think they are worth a try and would recommend them. My cats are picky and like a variety and this works out just fine.

    Emerald Feline Health Chews

By BobsterG on Jun 18, 2020

We bought these for our 9 yr old indoor cat because you were out of the Blue Buffalo ones we usually purchase for her. My wife gave her three of the small chews on two occasions in the evening with the same result - she threw them up all over the carpet. After waiting several weeks and reading the ingredients again, I thought it may be a safe bet to try to give her one chew in the morning - this was a near disaster as she threw up a total of six times within 30 minutes, twice on the carpet, three times on the hardwood floor and once on her cardboard scratch pad. I learned a lesson the hard way!!!

    Cats not interested

By Waste on Jun 22, 2020

I bought this for my kitties. One of them is very skinny and I thought it might be a good way to get some extra calories into him and my other is huge and is prone to urinary issues. Neither of my cats were interested but the dog didn't mind cleaning up after them lol but she also eats whatever she can get her chops on lol
