Our 7 year old Shiranian had a horrible bout of severe pancreatitis on/off for over a month. Her diet is now very restricted, and we bought these as they have a lower fat content and help with digestion. She LOVES them, they are her new favorite treat. I was a little worried when I discovered the treats aren’t actually chewy, she snubs her nose at hard treats but not this one. One review compared them to milk bones, I disagree. They are softer than milk bones but are a cookie not a chewy treat.

My dog got sick on these 'treats'. Had to stop giving them to him.

both greyhounds love, can't beat pumpkin flavor! Sort of soft/crunchy but a hit in this house
Good but not chewy as shown
These are a good quality treat but they are definitely not chewy as shown on the bag. They are crunchy/dense and tough to break up. Not good if you're planning on breaking them up to use as training treats for for pups with more fragile teeth. So recommend if you're looking for a good crunchy treat, not if you're looking for a chewy/soft treat.

Hard as a Rock! Dog won’t touch them! The package states “Chewy” “Soft chewy treats”. My hammer broke when I hit them!
Awful Treats
Hi I tried this with my 5 month old GSD and he wouldn’t eat them. So I went ahead and donated the unopened packages to Bay Path Humane Society. It would have been more of an issue to return the few items.

Bought for my dog with kidney problems.
After checking in with Emerald Pet, I found that these treats are low in phosphorous and sodium, which means they are good for my dog who has kidney failure. She eats them most of the time, and my other dog likes them too!
