Filters did not fit the motor

I bought this EOX fountain as a replacement for my previous one becuase the motor on that previous one gave out. When I assembled the new fountain, the motor was

I bought this EOX fountain as a replacement for my previous one becuase the motor on that previous one gave out. When I assembled the new fountain, the motor was completely different from the one on the old fountain. So I ordered this new replacement box because the sponges were different. However, when these replacements arrived, the filters that were included were curved, whild the "box" for the filters on the new fountain were oval - just as the "box" was for the prior fountain. Thus, I threw out the new curved filters and kept the sponges. Also, I will cut the black sponge rings that I had from the prior filter into the small squares needed for the sponges in the new fountain. I strongly recommend, though, that you correctly package the replacement filters and sponges to fit the product you are actually delivering.
