How does it work ? Just put some on the litter box ?

To use, fill the cap with crystals. Sprinkle evenly over litter. Use more for large boxes, less for smaller boxes. Be sure to replace cap tightly after use. Crystals are water soluble so will break down over time. Use every time you scoop for a refreshing scent.

Because I usually purchase non-clumping litter, these crystals are a necessity. But this brand and scent leave some room for improvement. The scent isn't strong

Horribly strong chemical smell that makes the litter box smell like a litter box

We recently switched to a natural litter that is waaay less dusty and lower-tracking but not great at odor control (smells stale, more than dirty), so I was hoping

We recently switched to a natural litter that is waaay less dusty and lower-tracking but not great at odor control (smells stale, more than dirty), so I was hoping this product would add a light poopouri effect. Unfortunately, it’s artificially chemical florals are SO strong they make the back of my throat burn and somehow it amplifies the acrid odor of cat pee, calling attention to the box, the whole litter box smelling now like a dirty litter box you’re trying to hide (even if it’s clean). The whole thing smells worse than it did before adding anything to the litter box. I do not get all the positive reviews.

Dad is Pickier Than the Cats...

I bought this product hoping my dad would put it to use after scooping the boxes. Those cats use crystal litter, and my dad refused the Arm&Hammer deodorizer I'd

I bought this product hoping my dad would put it to use after scooping the boxes. Those cats use crystal litter, and my dad refused the Arm&Hammer deodorizer I'd offered when they were using clay litter, saying the scent was too strong and it was too dusty (I use that product and I think it's fine, but he has a sensitive nose). So now that they use the crystal litter, I figured I'd offer him this product to use after scooping. I've heard no complaints from him, and he agreed I could purchase him more, so I plan on it for his sake, and for mine when I swing by their house!

Great Price for an, Awesome Product

You can use it to prevent Cat Litter Box Odors when you are away from the Cat Litter Box and haven't gotten to cleaning it right away. I always clean my cat litter

You can use it to prevent Cat Litter Box Odors when you are away from the Cat Litter Box and haven't gotten to cleaning it right away. I always clean my cat litter boxes. But some products don't hide the smell when they just go. Scream of my cats can't eat if their boxes aren't cleaned. I love in a 10 by 8 foot room so it is important thst the room doesn't smell. This is especially in the Spring, and Summer months. The Frsh Step Scent stops the odor when they just enter the deposit in the litter box. Although there isn't any smell out in the hallway, if you open up the door and don't use a product like this there could be complaints. Because we have bathrooms outside, if you open up your door to use the bathroom and the box isn't cleaned right away and the cats just went then you can have issues. With this product you can wait a little. If you are in the middle of something without worrying if the recent deposit in the cat box will create issues.

The Fresh Scent

I don't recall ever trying this item (I've been using Arm & Hammer Cat Litter Deodorizer powder). I wasn't aware of how large the canister is so it's a bit difficult

I don't recall ever trying this item (I've been using Arm & Hammer Cat Litter Deodorizer powder). I wasn't aware of how large the canister is so it's a bit difficult for me to maneuver. The only thing I would recommend of the manufacturer is to make a "flip lid" so it doesn't have to be "unscrewed" each time. Other than that, it's a good product.

I highly recommend using these deodorizing crystals if you haven't tried them yet! They also last a very long time and I use them every time I scoop out the litter box!
