These are true ladies sized, knee high (or over) socks. They are high quality and substantial, yet thin enough to go under equestrian tall boots or any other knee

These are true ladies sized, knee high (or over) socks. They are high quality and substantial, yet thin enough to go under equestrian tall boots or any other knee high boot for that matter. The full foot is padded (the picture is a bit misleading as the entire foot is black knit (not just the sole and heel). Why the rave about "true ladies sized"? I have bought this brand from another seller and while advertised as ladies and the socks I received did fit, they were clearly sized for youth (tight fitting around my normal ladies calf, thinner fabric and with juvenile designs). I am thrilled to find Chewy's carries exactly what this lady needs.
