I ordered three mice even though I have two cats. I was hoping the person picking and packing the three mice would have had enough common sense to select all three colours and not two of one colour and one of the other -- so I have two white mice and one brown mouse. Was that enough for me to drop to a two rating? Not really -- the mice have a crinkle material inside and that doesn't work for my cats. Also, they are VERY expensive for what they are -- they should really cost about $1.95 to $2.50. Would I tell someone to buy these? I would suggest, purchase at your own risk and read the reviews and materials to make certain your cat(s) will like them. And don't rely on the packer's common sense to give you the colour(s) you are hoping for. Perhaps Chewy should separate the colours and let customers select the amount of each.= colour.
I reviewed these a few months ago and gave four stars because my cat loved them, but I was not certain they'd stand up to a 1 year old rescue Bengal girl. She's strong, active, mouthy, and goes wild on them. I bought extras, thinking she'd destroy her original two in no time. The extras are still sitting in the closet. Three months later and her first two are still going strong. She attacks, bats, chews, and carries them around in her mouth multiple times every day. She loves all her toys, but her "grey mousie" is a must have day and night. I did reinforce the "nose" with a heavy duty cotton thread I had on hand. It hadn't come lose; I just wanted to make sure the original thread stayed intact. And one "paw" of one got a little loose a couple of months ago, so I reinforced that one. She loves them. I love them. They're a winner in our family.
These items where you only get one mouse instead of the three pictured is extremely irritating.
really like these mice, cats are okay with them, but the daughters dog, likes them more.
My cats have always loved these things and I find them in their water bowl and other strange places and now my Yorkie has decided they are the greatest little toy ever. They have no stuffing and to find these small flat mice all over my house when I least expect to see one just cracks me up and puts a smile on my face. And yes, sometimes startles me, but thats half the fun.
