Asuka Loves This Toy - But the Quality Has Gone Down

Asuka loves this squeaky squirrel and I've bought close to 20 of them in the past few years. Unfortunately the quality has deteriorated and the price has gone up. The original product had two rubbery blue plastic squeakers inside the squirrel body, but now the design has changed to two thin clear flexible plastic squeakers that are more easily punctured from bites to make it squeak. As with a lot of products in this inflationary period the quality has been lowered (probably to save a few cents cost per unit) and the selling price increased. I'll probably still buy them from time to time, since they are Asuka's most favorite toy, but I'm very disappointed with this product.

Ethical Pet

Unless I read this incorrectly, I did not get this squirrel free. As far as I can remember, I paid around $10.00 for this toy. The toy is fantastic and it is one of Bella's favorite toys. All the toys I have ordered from your company have been exceptional.

very poor quality

This lasted about 1 hour with our mini schnauzer. The biggest flaw is the stitches that hold the squeaker inside. The stitching is at least a quarter of an inch apart. Chewy should stop selling this toy and start refunding the money to all those who bought it.

Hilarious

She has so much fun with this! It's her favorite toy so far. I can ask her where her squirrel is and she knows. She will go get it! She even tucked it in with her and took a nap. She rearranged a few other things too but this is the first toy she took a nap with.

Not worth the money.

Dog took to the squirrel right away but 15 minutes later all that was left was the plastic noise maker.

lasted a year!

this toy lasted just under a year with daily play (it was my dog's favorite toy). when i threw it out, it wasn't even completely destroyed, but started coming apart at the seams. highly recommend!

I received this squirrel for Sparkie, he had it just 5 minutes & the squeaky squirrel stopped squeaking:/. Then he just walked away from it & hasn’t touched it!!! :(

good for no stuffing

there are two separate squeaky parts that fill up the body length of the 'squirrel'.
