The 2.75 inch dish weighs 1 ounce, the 3.75 inch bowl weighs 2 ounces, the 4.75 inche bowl weighs 6 ounces, the 7.5 inch bowl weighs 1 pound 2 ounces, the 9.5 inch bowl weighs 3 pounds 2 ounces.

Are these dishwasher safe?

Since we do not know the temperature and speed of all dishwashers, we always recommend hand washing to be safe, and to avoid microwaves as well.

I can't believe how much I love this bowl! Drawn to it by the name Ethical Pet, and because the ceramic is lead-free, it turned out to be the perfect weight - not

I can't believe how much I love this bowl! Drawn to it by the name Ethical Pet, and because the ceramic is lead-free, it turned out to be the perfect weight - not too heavy/unwieldy as I found so many large stoneware bowls to be in pet stores, yet not too light. The slight indentation on the bottom makes it easier to handle while cleaning, and the deep blue interior is prettier than expected and looks like an inviting pool! (I had to order a second one, which unfortunately arrived shattered but was promptly replaced - thanks, Chewy!) Highly recommended.

dogs avoid it not sure why.

wont drink water out of it. they love another crock style bowl so go this and neither dog will drink from it. I am afraid of lead in glaze on it so will make a planter
