I have an orange cat so take this review with a grain of salt but he absolutely shredded it. He also constantly spilled water on it (why I got it) and it kept a lot of water in however even after washing the water stains wouldn’t come off. Over all nice quality if you know your dog or cat won’t try to rip it up. (Switched to putting the water bowl in a large heavy pot)

I bought the medium/large size mat. After years of having to clean the floor around the dog’s feeding space, everything is now nicely contained in a lipped, leakproof area. Easy to wipe up, empty and clean. It looks great and is saving my wood floor, too! My only regret was not seeing these earlier!

Our dog was making a mess of water and food spilled/dripped on our hardwood floor. So I order the small mat and have been very pleased with it. The bowl stand does not slide on the mat, however, the mat itself can slide on the hardwood. One person mentioned picking up the mat and how water will spill from the mat. This is true as the mat is very flexible. It came rolled up in the box so you know it is very flexible. I suggest wiping off some of the water before trying to pick it up for cleaning. I wipe it down after meals just to keep it clean, but you can even put it in the dishwasher if so desired. I am pleased that this has a lip to catch fluid and foods. I recommend the mat.

My cat likes to put his mice and toys in the water bowl and play, and he washes his paws in there also. I bought a splash food mat for underneath my cat's water bowl to catch spills, and it works great for that purpose since it has the lip along the edge of the mat. It is very easy to wipe clean!
