Mine fell apart right away. I have puppies around 1.5 pounds and they were able to break a few middle pieces off without chewing on them. Also the screws fell out

Serves as a reminder to them not to enter the area that’s closed of, but not a prevention. I have a corgi, a cocker corgi, and babysit other pups for the family as needed. Any could go right over or through this gate but I know which ones are trustworthy and which aren’t.
Perfect barrier for a smaller dog
This is an attractive gate, it is not high so if your dog is a jumper it might not work for you. For our dog it is perfect.

Not worth the money.
I had to glue 2 of the 3 panels as they fell apart on all four of the corners. The screws were so loose that they had come out in the shipping. Would not recommend

Open the package, withdraw these beautifully finished wood, 3 sections, connected with furniture quality metal hinges. Heavy. Little rubber pads to rest the gate in a doorway as a suggestion to compliant pets. In my case a 5 lb Chihuahua. He only needs a reminder.

I bought this little gate recently for the purpose of giving my cat an escapable sanctuary in my bedroom while allowing a visiting, well-mannered, short-legged, 50-lb dog a physical reminder of where to stop (even with delicious cat food visible and sniffable). By tucking in the barrier's edges into door trim so that little pushes from the dog met reaistance, it worked perfectly. The gate can be stepped over by most people with normal range of knee motion, but it also easily scoots aside and back into place. Dark wood, sort of reddish brown. Looks okay with both cherry and mahogany. Bonus is nice little no-scratch feet.

While it may be ok if supervised PLEASE DONT LEAVE YOUR FUR BABY behind this due and leave the house due to possible choking or getting its head stuck. I would rate 5 stars if not for safety concerns.

Just the right size
I am blocking the dogs from the guest rooms. It is low, but my Great Pyrenees are not smart enough to figure out they can walk over it! The color is not as red
