Do these gates tip over easily?

This pet gate is made from solid wood and is durable. However, a determined dog can tip this gate over.

What is the horizontal measurement between the gate slats and the vertical measurement ween the bottom of the gate and the flower on the slat? I have a small Pomeranian puppy and I want the gate for my puppy. Also, will the gate work with a 10" baseboard? Thank you!

The dimension between the slats is approximately 1.5 inches. This gate is freestanding.

is there rubber on the bottom to keep from sliding on and scratching wood floor?

I put two of these in front of my tree to keep guest from bothering my tree and he knocked both of them down while I was gone. One of them was cracked in two different places. Just doesn’t seem to be very durable if they crack when they fall over.

Bought 1 years ago. It has been great! So, we came back to buy 2 more. We needed something to block front and back porch stairways so our pooch could enjoy sitting outside with us on the porch without yielding to the temptation to chase wildlife. Plus, we use one to block the inside stairs to keep her from following guesrs up to the loft. We also wanted it to look nice with cabin decor. Love how adaptable it is to different spaces and needs. Works for our 2yo granddaughter too! Our pup is about 25lbs, but she is not a jumper, so these are the perfect visual boundaries for her.
