Big let down

My dog loves evangers , but not this one. It smells like tuna, and has barely any meat. It's all watery. And gross. She hesitates but still eats it. It was expensive so im feeding it to her but never buying this again. Im extremely pleased with the braised beef chunks though.

What Happened To Evangers

Last 12 I got were very watery and grey. I thought they were spoiled so I called Evangers about it and they basically said it was a batch with too much minerals and when I asked for them to replace it they said no. I didn’t reorder from Chewy because I figured same batch, same result. Never again

More soupy than casserole

I often buy this and my dogs love it but this shipment was watery and not thick like it was previously. Going to try again.

Too much liquid

Disappointing, my dog has loved all Evangers food and my dog likes the taste of this but for the price it has way too much liquid/sauce and not enough chicken and veggies. It’s more like a soup. Just need to reduce the sauce and add more chicken and veggies and I would give it five stars.

Not Chunky

It was disappointing The picture looked like it was chunks of chicken and vegetables, but it was mush. And my dog didn't like it very much.

deceiving label photo

Even though my dogs did like this food, the label photo is so deceiving and fake. It makes the chicken look like it is pieces, but instead it is chopped in fine pieces, like babyfood. The chunks in the photo may be potatoes instead. But even though some said there wasn't enough, there was a lot in the can, just way different than photo. I will say this would be great for an old dog whose teeth are bad or hardly has any teeth.

My boys love this!

It’s a soupy mix of meat and veggies.. perfect for a kibble topper. Smells like chicken soup. I just wish there was more veggies.. it’s not as plentiful as the picture on the can. Over all a hit with my two Standard Poodles.

Like Home Cooked

Instead of cooking my own chicken, this is just like the same thing. My dogs love it. It's basically just chicken and broth with carrots and peas. One of my dogs has trouble swallowing large pieces, so I'm glad that this dog food is in small pieces! But even my large dog loves it and I top his other food with it.

Not A Happy Dog

My dog would not even look at this one. Perhaps it was the smell or maybe the consistency. I have no idea, but she loves all the other Evanger's brands I've given her, so I was quite surprised over her complete rejection of this one. Not recommended.

Where's the Chicken!

First time and last time. My dog enjoys a "chunky" dog food. I opted to try this one as it reads "chunky chicken casserole". NOTHING CHUNKY HERE. Each can has been more soup than "chunky" chicken - more like shredded chicken, and very little at that. Too expensive to be so misleading about what is in the can. I have to cook additional food (chicken or fish) to add to each can otherwise he got nothing but soup! Very disappointed.
