    Contains chunks of fat

    By on

I mixed some canned dog food with a little kibble for my 11 year old Bichon. She ate every bite and I thought we had found a good quality dog food. I opened the second can and noticed big chunks of fat in the broth and removed them before giving her the food. The third can had more fat. I scooped it out to give her some of the meat and refrigerated the rest. When I opened that can later to give her the balance it was shocking to see how much fat had solidified on the sides and in the meat. I threw it in the garbage and won't buy more of this brand.

    Beautifully packed by hand..

    By on

This canned dog food is packed with meat. Veggies are typically at the bottom so you need to stir in the can first (if giving partial can). I love this product and so does our Golden Retriever, Rebel. The Whole Chicken Thighs I normally order always 'smells' when you first open it. But none the less, I'm comfortable feeding him any hand packed delicacies from Evanger's. Expensive, but I love it.

    my dogs Love it

Big Chunks of beef and some veggies in beef broth. Smells good, looks good..I don't understand the reviews saying it looks like gristle..Hey it's Dog food. And because it really is a stew it does not fill up a bowl the way a pureed dog food would. My dogs eat it up.

    Our German Shepherds

    By on

Our German Shepherds love this food. I bought some cans to supplement their dry food. Instant hit with our three girls and boy. A bit pricey so I wouldn’t be able to make this food the main course.
