Horrible
It is one of the worst undercoat rakes I have used. Mind you, I have 3 Siberian Huskies all with differing coats it just swirled around the undercoat, barely getting anything when there was plenty to get.
Great comb
My Ausie is the queen of undercoat. Most of it in her hindquarters and this comb goes through so easily and comes out with handfuls of hair. It makes both of us very happy.
Terrible rake
I am so disappointed by this rake. I had several similar tools at my last job, and looking at it, this one seemed the same. However, it is extremely ineffective and pulling out any of the loose undercoat. It feels like the pins just glide over the coat instead of actually penetrating, which other tools were able to do. Returning this.
Works great on double coats
The pins rotate as you pull through the fur which helps make the grooming process more comfortable. This rake works so well at removing dead undercoat in my rough coat collie, and it makes all the difference when grooming him.
Not the same
A friend has an older version of this that removed a lot of the fur, but this brush was just slightly different & now just a few strands come out! Might work on a different type of fur but not on my Newf.
Dog brush
Does not remove hair like my old one. I brush my dog a second time with my old one and still get lots of hair
Great grooming tool
This works very well for long haired dogs. Thorough yet gentle.
noisy and ineffective
This brush rattles! My puppy just wanted to play with it! And he doesn't play with the pin brush. It also doesn't pull the undercoat out as it should.
Quality that’s easy on the hand
Replacement for Evolution rake that lasted many years. This rake is Sturdy and ergonomically designed to reduce hand fatigue. Highly recommended!
Toothless Tool
Within two passes over a medium length German shepherd coat, the teeth started coming out. This is NOT durable. Very poorly made.
