Looking for a good night and day bulb for my hermit crabs.. and what watts should I use

We advise starting with a 15-watt bulb and going to a higher wattage only if necessary, especially with a 10-gallon tank. Continue to monitor the thermometer in your tank, hermit crabs are happiest when temperatures are kept between 72-80 degrees Fahrenheit.

Seems to work!

We have a 40 gallon,double door front open terrarium which already has a huge basking light and a heat lamp light plus an under floor heat element. The cage consistently

We have a 40 gallon,double door front open terrarium which already has a huge basking light and a heat lamp light plus an under floor heat element. The cage consistently ran low 80s during the day and down to 70s at night w lights off, even when covered. I purchased these nighttime 75watt bulbs and added two of them to an additional lamp. The temperature overnight rose to the mid 80s. (the usual 68 house temp) Still thinking our bearded dragon needs more heat.

I've bought these a few times now. And only 1 bulb lasted more than a week. I've tried timed switches. And just leaving it on. It lasted the longest when just left

This bulb just burned out recently. It worked well to give her some sense of night and day, but also giving her an opportunity to stay warm/dry out if she wanted
