I got this today and I realized there was a lot of loose pebbles or rocks and as I opened it a bunch came out and I gave it a rinse to make sure there wasn’t anymore and then big chunks started coming off so no I do not recommend this.

When I went to open up this product, a bunch of dust and pebbles fell to the bottom of the box, and when I took a hose vacuum to it, a ton of other pieces were vacuumed up. Although it looked nice in my bearded dragon’s tank, I was too nervous to actually use it because of the amount of debris that came off. I didn’t want him to risk eating pieces and becoming impacted, so I will stick with the reptile carpet, going forward.
Not worth money

The mat looks great but the minute your pet goes to the bathroom it puts a hole in the mat when cleaning. Very cheaply made for the price. We had to throw it away within a few days. Recommend use for a section of tank only not as main flooring
Must have for bearded dragons!

My bearded love this mat! We have to replace it once every 5-7 months because they dig and scratch and rub their bellies on it, but those are the things they need to do.
If you have a male dragon, this is great for helping keep his femoral pores clear.
OK But Elementary School Level Sand Gluing
on Dec 29, 2019
This really is an amazingly simple product that works well in my beardie's terrarium...if only it didn't shed so much. I was prepared for the loosening of the sand particles based on other reviews but did not expect the sand to continuously come off since it was purchased about two weeks ago. While the exposed areas of backing do not bother me much, patches of glued sand that lift off the backing so it can easily peel off does. This leads me to believe any amount of water would wash it right off. The rolled up packaging also does it no favors as chunks come off when it is unrolled. It really is just ok but only 2 stars because price point is high for this product quality.

I have a 4 foot long by 2 foot tall tank that my bearded dragon Gregory adores. I put a small to medium size sand mat in the middle so he has paper towel, sand mat, tile all in one tank. I put the sand mat on the are where he does not poop or eat and this is extremely helpful with keeping his nails short.
love the mat

It fits my tank perfectly, it’s easy to clean. Only downside is that the little pebbles fall off easily when being cleaned.
Pebbles come off easy
on Sep 2, 2019
Right when I got this in the mail the box had all the pebbles on the bottom. I laid it in my beardys cage and when he pooped I had to clean it up with some water and soap, that made the pebbles come off even more, and it made a patch with no rocks on it, it looks very funny.
Other than that, it looks very nice and I would recommend it.

It looked nice in the tank but it didn't last long. The sand and pebbles started coming off the mat. The only way of getting poop off it was by rinsing it which made the sand come off quicker. I liked how it looked but wasn't worth the hassle. I think I'll just stick to tiles.
