Higher cost lower quality

My cat doesn't care about fancy packaging, but it annoys me to spend a lot more on it, when I know she will feel deprived without fresh wet food every single day

My cat doesn't care about fancy packaging, but it annoys me to spend a lot more on it, when I know she will feel deprived without fresh wet food every single day. I give her pate bc gravy is not food. I give her fancy feast bc I'm not rich, they used to have petites portions, but they stopped selling the pate petites and now it's just these gems. A whole lot of flash, wasteful, horrible packaging, but my cat is the consumer, and she doesn't even like them as much. Despite the cost, I tried to be excited, thinking, well, I guess it's time for her to spoiled. I served it up, and for the first time ever she hesitated at her wet food, and looked at me, like, what is this? She does eat it, but she never cleans her plate now, which is unheard of with a tiny portion of wet food and my food loving cat. Why did you mess with a good thing. The pate petites were perfect, no excess packaging, and made my kitty happy, which is what we all want in life.

She can eat one without leaving anything for the younger cat vultures. And she can have a 2nd later in the day to help maintain her weight. And, most importantly, she’ll eat them. Picky eaters!! Doesn’t matter what I feed her if she won’t eat it! I am glad these exist for my darling girl.

Horrible packaging

The commercials for this got me and I was excited to order these for my picky kitty. Upon arrival I noticed how wasteful the packaging is with the outer cardboard

The commercials for this got me and I was excited to order these for my picky kitty. Upon arrival I noticed how wasteful the packaging is with the outer cardboard box for the duo of servings. Then, opening (or attempting to) the foil is nearly impossible and very frustrating. Finally, the food doesn’t slip out, I have to use a utensil to remove it which defeats the purpose (and advertisement). After all that work, my picky kitty isn’t even a fan of the food itself. Total disappointment in every way.

Terrible Packaging

The cardboard twin packs are hard to open. The foil covering the individual servings are much more difficult to open. Once you do manage to pull it open, it immediately

The cardboard twin packs are hard to open. The foil covering the individual servings are much more difficult to open. Once you do manage to pull it open, it immediately tears down the middle. As a result, I need to dig my fingers into the food to pull the foil up around the edges. The packaging states you just need to flip it over and it will fall into the dish. That is also not true. It absolutely refuses to come out without a tool.
