My Kitten wouldn't eat, but he however seems thus far to be a picky eater. Bought for my 8M Kitten. Wouldn't eat, however, I've found he is very fickle about what he will eat. The quality was good and I don't think it had to have been the food specifically. Especially because I gave the case to my Sister for her cats, who loved it. The older cat loves salmon and was very happy with the food. So, suggest to other kitten owners to consider buying.
Surprisingly #2 ingredient is chicken, even though it is not specifically mentioned (salmon + chicken or something). In the end, this wasn't the problem causing explosive diarrhea & runny poop, it did initially pose a problem for us because we were trying to remove chicken from our kitten's diet. We unknowingly fed this for a few days assuming it didn't have chicken. But regardless, kittens love this food. But if there are anyone else trying to avoid chicken, do not buy this one!
Purchased for my senior cat that was on the thinner side. It helped her gain weight. I prefer giving my cats the gourmet naturals version of fancy feast. Less ingredients and meat being the first ingredient.
My 14 year old female rescued cat has a very sensitive stomach and goes through periods of daily vomiting everything I feed her from many different brands of wet and dry food with no relief. Even the sensitive stomach and senior formulas do not work for her. I gave this FF kitten food a try because she needs to gain weight. She loves this FF Kitten Naturals Wild Alaskan Salmon Recipe and begs for more. So far the vomiting issue has decreased to once a week instead of daily which is a win for both of us!
My cats are used to the Fancy Feast with artificial flavor. I think this this is an healthier option but I can't convince THEM of that! They ate some reluctantly, but not with regular enthusiasm.
Didn't realize I'd ordered the kitten variety of the gourmet naturals salmon by mistake until it arrived, but thankfully all 3 of our adult cats love it. I will order the correct one next time, but highly recommend this for both kittens and cats! I think just the fat content is a little higher in kitten food, so it's not harmful for adults.
Our vet suggested kitten food for our picky seven-year-old cat who turned up her nose at various more expensive options. The vet suggested Fancy Feast as a good option among the more moderate brands. The Queen loves the salmon choice. She's gaining weight and energy.
It is a hit with my kitten. She loves it!! She looks forward to having it every day a her lunch time. It's gone within minutes . She loves the flavor.
4 new kittens about 8 weeks old don't like this food. They tried to cover their bowls with their blanket in the cage.
got this for my kitten thats behind on weight. he loves it and gobbles it down and the other kittens enjoy it too.
