But they love fish
My 7 cats of various ages love fancy feast. The FF naturals are a hit and miss for some reason. They don't care for this one and will eat the other food mixed with it. I give four cans of food emptied in a row on a plate like a buffet so they can get a variety each time they eat, but this one stays on the plate after a few licks.
Didn't go as well as expected.
My kitty lives the regular Fancy Feast Ocean Whitefish pate. When I saw there was a Gourmet variety, I ordered thinking it would be healthier, even though it was more expensive. I'm unsure why, but my cat didn't like it at all. I had to go back to the regular one with the darker blue label.
BEWARE - MOLDY
This made my cat violently ill. She was vomiting and had watery stool after eating this, so I checked all of the cans (I had ordered 6 different flavors) and ALL OF THEM had this black moldy-looking stuff. CHECK YOUR CANS BEFORE FEEDING YOUR CAT THIS FOOD. They were all well within the expiration date (Aug & Dec 2024).
They love it
My 3 cats will run to the kitchen as soon as they hear me open the can. They always have dry food available, but they love this. The cans are easy to open and serve. They especially enjoy the fish flavors. My one cat, Bella who is 15 yrs old, will sit in the kitchen and ‘cry’ waiting for her FANCY FEAST.
Fast delivery , good price
My kitty has thyroid disease and is a pretty picky eater, she only likes pate style food, and this is her favorite brand, of course the product itself is good, but mostly I want to say how much I enjoy chewy and the speed of delivery, I especially enjoy having those heavy cat litter boxes, delivered to my door and not having to go to the grocery store to get them, I get her pate and cat litter all at the same time so that I get the free shipping, the prices are better than the grocery store and again delivery is fast so I have really enjoyed about the past year that I have been using chewy! If your cat is a picky eater, also try this fancy feast and any other of their pate flavors out!
Just like the regular version
I got a case of this Fancy Feast to give my pals a special treat. Honestly, I don't see any difference between this and the Ocean Whitefish pate that I always get for them. They don't seem to see a difference either. They are loving their regular blue labeled pate. One thing that I have learned after years of trying to make cats happy....I bought all of the gravy lovers selections because they loved the gravy. They ate the gravy and left the meats. What a waste I had for years. Once I tried pate for them, they entered the 'clean plate club'. Both of my cats eat every bit of their pate--right away when I serve it to them. No more of that typical cat behavior of ignoring the plate for awhile. They love their dinners. Who knew what a huge mistake I was making with trying all of those other Fancy Feast choices? My cats knew, but I was clueless for a long time!
Holy waste of money
Very watery, cats won’t eat it. Have literally thrown out, or fed to my dogs, each can. They love the regular blue label variety of Ocean Whitefish so my only guess is that is it literally too watery to have any appeal?
They hated it
I feed my 5 cats fancy feast everyday. Thought I’d get this as a change for them. Not one of them would touch it! Back to beef and chicken.
Great as a Topper
My cats love this stuff, but I have too many cats to feed them just Fancy Feast. It's too expensive. I use this as a topper for other cat foods that they like but don't love, and they eat it all.
Healthy purchase!
After 7 years of trying to please me girls, I've learned to order the brands they like. They like the fancy feast seafood and chicken varieties and that's what I'll order. The gourmet Pate was a big hit.
