When introducing a pet to a new food, we recommend a gradual change over a 10 day period. Start by feeding 90% of their old food and 10% of Fancy Feast. Each day, increase their portion of Fancy Feast by 10%, while decreasing their old food until 100% of their meal consists of their new food.
This brand is like kitty crack if you’re vet wants your shelter rescue cat to have some wet food. I started with chicken and they stopped selling it separate. My cat is not a variety eater including any human food. It’s got to be her cat food only and same. I had to switch to this flavor over the other one going away. Was great until Purina changed mfg’s this product out of the Country. I must be getting the new stuff and now my cat doesn’t like this anymore. I can’t smell but read it doesn’t smell the same. Yeah, that will skew a cat’s trust to eat it. If you’re cat was eating Fancy Feast and not wanting it, it’s probably the meats species not smelling the same, My cat doesn’t have any obvious intestinal upset issues but if it’s not sitting right that could be why. I will soon find out going back where we started. If not, no choice but to start over. A change like this is risky.
I have a 12 year old cat that can only eat kitten food due to some health issues. Fancy Feast salmon and turkey flavors are the 2 flavors that she likes best, and don't cause her to throw up too much. While other retailers have been out or very low on stock, Chewy had plenty and they delivered them directly to my door. The price was the same and delivery time was 2 days.
My 9 month old kittens love this food! I've purchased many cases of Fancy Feast Kitten and the girls love it.
I go to open a can and my two kittens come-a-running. They know the sound of the can being opened. They never leave any food. I use two cans for both kittens.
My sweet Kitty loves this kitten food. She only eats seafood and the plus is it is made with real milk. She adores it. Great quality and price.
Two kitten has been eating this since 2months old and have been successfully gaining weight gradually.
Been purchasing the variety 24 pack not knowing you can buy 24 of one flavor. So I bought a 24 pack of salmon, the kittens love it.
I was hesitant about feeding them kitten food, but with the reduced choice of cat food since Covid I decided to try it and it went over big with them.
My kitten's s preferred food choice at the moment.
My local shelter is having a hard time finding kitten food for all their foster kittens. Chewy came through
