Might seem like a weird question I know I should be feeding my almost 3 month kitty kitten wet food but can't find many that say kitten other then these but I. worried about giving her milk as I have seen that it could be bad for cats so should I or should I not give her this? what do you recommend?
Answer by Md5406Jul 29, 2021
Cats are lactose intolerant. That's why they can't have milk. But they can have milk proteins. My opinion is that the amount of milk in this is negligible and my 18 yr old girl is thriving off it (vet recommended kitten wet food for the extra calories). She has never showed signs of stomach upset or being gassy with this food (common lactose intolerance symptoms). After having her on this she is acting like herself again. If your kitty develops lactose intolerance symptoms after ingesting this then you may wish to find something else. If you are worried about getting it and the kitten not liking it. Buy 1 to 3 cans from a local store and see how they do. That way you won't be out that much money if it doesn't work for her. If it works then YAY, autoship here you come! Best of luck and I hope my answer helped you out

I have a VERY finicky kitty with a sensitive tummy. He is a 13 year old tabby. Is kitten food safe for him? Thank you very much. I’m at my wit’s end trying to find wet, easy to chew food for my special boy.
Answer by ChewyNov 21, 2019
This formula is specially crafted to support growing kittens. It won't harm the adult or senior cat to eat kitten food, other than consuming the extra calories.

At what age, should you switch your kitten from this to regular FF cat cans? Thank you!
Answer by ChewySep 14, 2019
In general, a kitten is considered an adult cat when it reaches 1 year of age, but your cat may not actually be fully grown at this point. Kittens typically reach a length and weight close to their full-grown size by 9 to 12 months of age.

How old does my kitten half to be to eat this
Answer by ChewyJun 27, 2019
This food is suitable for kittens of all ages as long as they can eat solid food.

Kitten Approved

Just adopted two kittens, 8 week old female torties, and the first time I gave them half a can of this food they ate it so fast I wasn't sure where it went. It seems to be a hit so far, though I am just starting to use it to supplement the dry food. They are hungry little monster babies.

why milk?

Why is there milk in this food. Kittens can’t digest cows milk and at our rescue we have many litters of kittens end up with terrible diarrhea. Year after year with this. We don’t even keep the donations any more. Please take out the milk. Use kitten formula if you want to advertise milk!

Assortment ?

I purchased this for my fussey Ragdoll, he liked it when he was younger and lately he's become really pickey. The only flavor he like is the whitefish :( Luckily my senior kitteh eats the chicken and Salmon .. . but what to do with the turkey? none of my 3 cats will eat turkey ! i wish they would make separate packages of each variety !

DISAPPOINTED

This can food made my kittens very sick. I did not realize that they add real milk which cats or kittens should never drink. Producer, please take out real milk! It cause severe diarrhea in kitten which resulted in a vet visit. Ty

Bad Batch or Kittens Demand Adult Food Now lol

My kittens have been eating this since we got them at 6 weeks old. They are 10 months old now and they didn’t seem interested at all with this recent batch I got. Either they are ready for adult food or this batch wasn’t a good one where they turn their noses up at it. One of my kittens absolutely LOVES this wet food but even he walked away from the bowl. I haven’t had any issues until now with this brand but honestly it could be my kittens are just ready for an adult food. :) So I ordered Fancy Feast Petite wet food to see what happens. I’ll still be loyal to Fancy Feast wet food and see what happens! But before this happened my kittens lived and loved off of this wet food so I still say give it a try!

GREAT SITE

You can't ask for better service. I've been using Chewy for 8 years now. I have 7 cats, 2 dogs and 1 bird. I foster alot of bottle fed babies from the shelter until their ready for adoption and Chewy is my go to place for all the food I need. They are GREAT

Foster kitties love it

I'm a shelter foster mom and presently have a young cat and her 7 kittens. Mom was dumped by the person who wanted a free kitten, 5 days before delivering her third litter. They all love this food and have been eating it since they turned 3.5 weeks. Now at 7 weeks, along with some kitten chow, they eat 6-8 cans of Fancy Feast/day. (I don't request shelter reimbursement so I wish it was a little less pricey and available in larger cans.) Please SPAY/NEUTER your pets!!

Works for my cats

I started buying this 2 years ago for my kitten and periodically for one of my stray cats that likes to roam (I luckily live in a cat neighborhood where pretty much everyone likes cats) and I now purchase this for my senior cat to keep her weight at a healthy number. The seafood really isn’t a favorite but sometimes they will eat it, they tend to eat chicken and turkey more probably because I feed them that more often.I’m not sure what some of these other comments are saying that it makes their babies sick but every baby is different, and sometimes it just might not be the food that’s the culprit only your vet and you can narrow that answer down.

Fancy Feist mix

I bought this because it had a little taste of everything. He likes the salmon n whitefish but does not like the turkey or chicken. So on to finding something else.

Fancy Feast Kitten Food

I just received this product, and I am still in the early stages of offering them food, as they are not completely weaned yet but should be soon, they have tried a little but not quite ready they are 5 weeks old, but I know they will love it as my adult babies do.
