This heated base is designed for use with double wall metal fountains and other metal containers only.

Can I use a 60 ft extension cord with this product?

Connecting the unit to an extension cord over a long distance will result in fewer volts and less power. For example, if the voltage drops from 120 VAC to 105VAC while the amps remain the same, the wattage (power) will automatically drop. (Ex. 105VAC x 8.5A = 892.5 watts compared to 120VAC x 8.5A = 1020 watts.) If an extension cord is used, it should be a heavy gauge 3 conductor, designed for outdoor use only, and as short as possible.

Could you tell me where I can buy a replacement thermostat switch for this item?

Good for loose hair removal

I introduced it slowly to my dogs over a period of a week as they were nervous about it. I used lots of treats and gradually increased the suction. I like the dial knob to increase suction in training. My dogs look forward to me using it now and getting their treats and they like the brush attachment best. There were two reasons why iI didn’t get a 5 rating.. The first is that the filter system is confusing and could be labeled better. There was no video showing the detailed assembly of the filter system either. The second is that it could have more suction (now that my dogs have acclimated to the sound.) Overall I would buy it again. My dogs like it!

Well worth the money

I ordered this just in time for this cold snap. I always worry about my cheeps not having access to fresh water when it is so frigid outside. This works perfectly

I ordered this just in time for this cold snap. I always worry about my cheeps not having access to fresh water when it is so frigid outside. This works perfectly plus I think it helps to actually keep things warmer in their coop. I highly recommend. It is very well made and works perfectly

Hmmmm, somethin' ain't right.

I just plugged this in for the second season and it's not working. I don't think we should have to replace these every year.

It works

I had a heater from this company that worked well for several years. When it eventually died, I replaced it with a different brand that did not even heat up enough

I had a heater from this company that worked well for several years. When it eventually died, I replaced it with a different brand that did not even heat up enough to keep my hens water from freezing. Went back to the Farm Innovators heater and am fully satisfied. I hope it lasts as long as the first one.
