Please ensure your cat has access to clean, fresh water at all times. These amounts recommended are as a guide and should be adjusted based on your cat's physical condition and ability. The amounts suggested are for a healthy Adult cat. Kittens may eat twice the amount and pregnant or nursing mothers up to 3 times the amount. We recommend using the lower amounts in each range below and checking the cat's weight about 5 days after the transition period and then adjust slowly if required.
This diet should be transitioned over a period of 5 - 7 days.

Picky cat likes it
By KER65 on Mar 1, 2021
I have 2 young cats - an 18 month old rescue & a 13 month old brat. I've been feeding both the same flavor I fed my late cats who had stomach & allergy problems: lamb. The younger cat has a sweet tooth, though, and prefers treats to food. He also absolutely needs fiber in his diet or I have to give him probiotics, and I prefer for him to get his nutrition in his food. When I read the ingredients in this brand, I was impressed, and hoped he'd enjoy it, what with all the fruit in it. So far, it's become his favorite. He still has the other food available to him because that's what my rescue prefers, but he has almost exclusively eaten the Farmina N&D since I opened the bag. Fingers crossed that he sticks with this food & it stays available to us for a long time. … more

kibble change
By stuck on Feb 25, 2021
The kibble post Oct 2020 is different. The old kibble was small, dark brown and had a rich blood odor. The new kibble looks dull and smells mildly like fish (like regular average quality cat food). Disappointing, as my cats loved the old one and would finish every last bit but won't do the same with the new one, and now I'm stuck having switched them to a kibble that no longer exists.

A staple in my house
By MinCA on Jan 15, 2021
This is a winner for even my über picky eater. It comes with a ziplock top, but I still fold over and clamp for freshness. I’ve suggested it to a number of friends and they’ve all had success, as well. My vet approves as she does not like pea protein for cats.

I like the Farmina line of dry food and so do my cats
By Farmerjane on Dec 31, 2020 Top 500 Contributor
I have been using the Farmina for a while now, decided to try the lamb. Honestly I didn’t think it would be a hit but surprised me, everyone likes which is unusual. I mostly wanted for my one cat that has “digestive “ issues, she can eat this without incident.

Game Changer
By TSmith on Sep 18, 2020
I don't usually write reviews, even for products I love, because I never seem to have the time or remember. But this food is so miraculous that I had to share for any other cat parent who struggles with a picky eater. My cat has been refusing food for over 6 months now. We've tried over 20 brands from raw to wet to dehydrated. To make matters worse, he has food allergies and problems with chronic regurgitation. Even if we find a food he likes, he'll stop eating it 4 - 5 days later. I don't know what's in this food but he is crazy for it. Now he eats too much, too fast so we have a new problem to worry about - but I'm not complaining. So far, no upset stomach, no skin irritation, or other food I don't usually write reviews, even for products I love, because I never seem to have the time or remember. I jumped on to Chewy to get him a food-dispensing toy to slow him down and thought I'd leave a review. Thank you N&D and Chewy -- this was a gamer changer for us. … more

Bear's New Favorite!
By Sharona on Nov 8, 2020
I've used this new food for a couple of weeks and Bear seems to really like it. Had some of his old dry food left and combined the two, and this is the always the first to go. Quality ingredients too, so I'll use this as my main dry food from now on.

3 out of 3 cats agree
By KatB on Dec 29, 2020
Yes, all THREE cats, ages 4-10, loved this food. Worked well for the one who has food allergies, no sneezing or scratching.

DO NOT GIVE GREEN TEA EXTRACT
By Libby on Sep 10, 2020
I fed my furbaby food with green tea extract for a year. At first she had more energy and lost fat rolls and looked better. After a while she started shedding more, and just kept losing weight. She was just diagnosed hyperthyroid. Do the research. Green tea extra is linked to hyperthyroid issues. NOT AN APPROPRIATE SUPPLEMENT AVOID.
