Isnt orang toxic To cats?
Answer by ChewyOct 12, 2020
Oranges are a great source of nutrients and Vitamin C to keep your cat healthy. The manufacturer removes the peels, stems, leaves, and seeds of the orange before production, as these parts of the fruit are considered toxic to cats.

What is "Yeast Extract", and How is it different from Brewer's Dried Yeast?
Answer by ChewyNov 01, 2020
Yeast extract is different from the actual yeast because it is prepared in liquid form to paste-like consistency. Conversely, yeasts are often granulated and grainy in both texture and appearance.

Glad I bought this!

I have tried other all natural/raw dehydrated foods before with my four cats and one or more has always refused to eat it. From day one they loved this food. They completely transitioned to this food without any difficulty. Take ur time and follow recommendations and ur cat will love it.

I bought this to give the cats a change - try something different. The package arrived, the front of the cat food bag has nice colors, a brief description with picture, then, turn the bag around and nothing else is in English!!! The ingredients are in 3 languages, none of which are English. The writing on the sides of the package is in a language I don't understand. Someone stuck a lopsided sticker on the bag of the ingredients in English. I was not able to determine what country this food is made in, there's a flag of Italy on it - not a United States flag. It didn't matter to the cats, they didn't eat any of it. Five cats, no one ate this food. After watching the cats walk past the food for 6 days, the food was thrown in the garbage. I wouldn't even give it one star but a negative star review isn't an option.

Its been 3 days and my cats are obsessed!

I normally wait longer to review but I am so excited about the difference in my cats attitude. I previously was feeding them Orijen and my cats were disinterested but would eat it. Their poopies on that food were horrendous to say the least. So I decided to switch to this and I have my little food goblins back!! Every meal I am greeted with excited and demanding cats and I love to see it! They very loudly meow, rub against me, and then BOLT to their bowls. I recently ran out of their greenie treats and have been giving them this kibble instead and they don’t mind one bit, they love it!!!

Recipe Sadly Changed?

All my many cats loved this food, they were healthy and their fur was beautiful. I noticed the change in the kibble a while back but kept buying, hoping the next bags would be the old recipe. Sadly, it just continues to sit in their bowls. The high price increase was painful but I would sacrifice anything for my sweethearts to have good food. I give it One Star because other cats may like it and I believe it's quality food. Mine just didn't buy the old switcheroo.

My cat won’t eat it

My cat eats everything, has never had a problem with food! But I tried this brand in the pumpkin and she has been doing fine (no hairballs!) but I decided to mix it up and try the seafood and she leaves it in her bowl. It smells better to me, but it’s been a week and she won’t touch it. I guess we’ll stick to the pumpkin but wasted money on this purchase.

My finicky senior cat

I have a 25yr old cat. She is super fussy and she LOVES this Farmina cat food! I am a HUGE fan of Farmina as I feed it to my dog as well. She is super fussy to (maybe they both are just spoiled) and she loves it as well. I do wish chewy would offer the whole line of Farmina instead of just certain ones. Farmina is a high quality food.

Good food but cats refuse to eat this flavor.

My 3 cats have been eating Farmina food for several years and thriving. They love both the grain free and low grain formulas with the exception of this Ocean Codfish. While I know that this is a high quality healthy food, all 3 cats refuse to eat this flavor/formula. They love the lamb, duck and herring food in all the different formulas but this Codfish didn't pass their sniff test and was totally rejected. I donated this food to a friend with a newly adopted 4 year old cat and he loves this cod food. Judging from his reaction and all the great reviews, I guess it's just my crazy bunch that are in opposition for whatever their reason. Guess there really is a first time for everything.

Farmina is amazing!

My 3 cats love this food. Two of my cats have food sensitivities that are resolved with this food. Amber gets itchy ears and Comet has vomiting tendencies. Neither of them have had any problems since switching to this food. Plus they all like it which is difficult to find with cats. I also switched my dogs to a Farmina food with equal success.
