Rocker loves it, we top dress her food with this extra food. The cost is so high we don't use it as her main food.
none of my cats would eat this one, they only like the wild boar and apple flavor, I still recommend it if your cats like fish, mine do not.
My cats won't eat it. I'm so glad I got the smaller bag to try it out. They didn't even have a single bite. Just sniffed at it and walked away.
Farmina is a great quality food and I have both my cats and dog on this.
My cat is 13 now and gets a little picky with wet food. If i have to feed him dry, this is about the only brand i trust. I always add moisture and protein in the form of toppers to make up for his disdain for most wet foods. Plus the ingredients and sourcing are far superior than most others I have come across as they are biologically appropriate for him. His vet requested he eat a grain inclusive diet due to the inconsistent findings around grain free diets and fatal health problems, and the only grains I am comfy with him eating are the higher quality ancient grains due to their nutritional value vs corn and wheat etc. highly recommend!
I used this food for about a month and a half and all seemed fine. My cat then began to eat less and use the box less. This behavior slowly increased and it got to the point I made a vet visit. Nothing was found other than the fact she was filled with fecal matter and not eliminating - so lactulose was started. Vet couldn't figure out what was going on. She became more lethargic and started making weird noises, like a quiet groan noise. Eating continued to decrease and so she went to the animal ER. Again, the vet didn't know what was going on, but they way my cat was acting and not eating and hardly drinking made me extremely scared. She had gained a lot of weight over the past couple months so I got some weight management food (Orijen) and she has now been on that for about 4 days. I can now see my cat coming back to normal. Every day is a tiny bit better. The only change at all has been in food, so I am making the correlation that this food has something in it (green tea?) that my cat has a significant reaction to. I am not saying this is a bad food, but I'm writing this only because it might help someone else out that is seeing changes in their cat. All of this progressed over about a 3.5 weeks span, so it was very gradual. If you see changes in your cat's appetite/litter box habits, and more lethargy, you may want to try another food to see if things improve, and if so, throw this out because your cat may be sensitive to some ingredient in here as mine was.
smells really fishy to me, but my cats can't get enough!
I haven't found a better dry food and my cats actually prefer this food to less nutritious foods, which are typically more tasty.
I have tried other all natural/raw dehydrated foods before with my four cats and one or more has always refused to eat it. From day one they loved this food. They completely transitioned to this food without any difficulty. Take ur time and follow recommendations and ur cat will love it.
My picky cat likes it! After trying lots of brand this is the only high quality food he enjoys.
