Read Farmina’s ingredients. You will be impressed. ND by Farmina is produced in Italy and just like fabulous Italian food, a huge hit in our home. We have a Sphynx, Fig, who has suffered with pancreatic issues and chronic inflammation in her tummy. We finally realized she was allergic to chicken. Sooooo hard to find food that does not have some form of chicken bi-product in it as a filler. This does NOT. A local pet food store suggested this product and after placing our little Fig on it, her bowel issues subsided by 90%. All the other kitties love it too. We feed the kids the seafood options but there are also other alternatives like chicken, venison with pumpkin, lamb and a special digestive option. We buy them all except for the chicken. HIGHLY recommend!

Disappointed in hearing about the lack of QA

This food was my kitties favorite. I’ve never seen any cat beg and go crazy for a food like this one. After reading about the arsenic and the lack of quality control in Serbia, I will not longer purchase this food. I know the kitties are disappointed, but if the plant ever moves back for Italy, I will repurchase. I have switched everyone to Ziwi air-dried food, which isn’t that much more than Farmina’s $10/lb.

This food would be amazing... should be trust-worthy. However, it is not actually made in Italy as Chewy states on the website. My bag says made in Serbia. A quick Google search, and you'll find countless warning of arsenic contamination leading to sudden death in dogs and cats from this brand. I have spoken with multiple supervisors and will be speaking with a manager to let them know I am getting this food professionally chemically tested to potentionally rule out that it contributed to my beloved 15-year-old family cat's sudden collapse and passing after being switched to this brand of food for only four days prior to his emergency vet visit.
