My cat likes this variety more than the rest. He'll eat it consistently. Some of the others he would like one day and not the next, and some batches of certain varieties he wouldn't touch at all, but I've been lucky with the squid kind. I don't know where else to leave this comment, so I'll leave it here: I wish Chewy would not show a product's _catalog_ in-stock status on the same product's _invoice line item_ record. It looked like my auto-ship order shipped without this item because it was labelled out of stock on the invoice. I wondered why I didn't get a notification or a chance to replace it before the order shipped. I ordered a replacement in a separate order; otherwise my cat would be going to be hungry. It turns out I must have ordered the last of this item, as it did arrive. Since I didn't need the second order, I tried to cancel it, as I had not yet notified that it had shipped, but it was already too late. Chewy refunded the second order, which was nice, but I actually think it wasn't necessary. They could have saved the money and spared some confusion if they wouldn't display the _current_ in-stock status on an already processed order. In addition, I realized how important it is that Chewy tape cases of food shut. It would probably be good to partially wrap bags of food as well. The cases in this shipment weren't taped and the cans were everywhere. Some ended up dented, and a bag of dry food came with holes. Not a huge deal because there wasn't a huge mess, but taping is a good thing to remember. I wonder if Chewy could provide weight notices when shipments become heavy as well; the heavier a package is, the less the care it seems it's handled with.

No Agar Agar or other plant gums. My cat who developed IBS from eating the plant gums in most cat food is doing great on brands without the gums to - frankly - hold the garbage so-called food ingredients together. Real probiotics and herbs to quell the inflammation were key, but step #1 was to stop feeding the plant gums.
