Low Glycemic and Cats Love It

    By on

I wanted to upgrade both my cats' and dog's food after reading that so many of the most popular "high end" dry foods are actually high glycemic and directly correlate to the rate of cancers for the animals that eat them. After MUCH searching, I came across Farmina and am beyond impressed. Low glycemic, a bit of fruit in each (seems counterintuitive, but it's not) for their anti-oxidant qualities. None of the typical high glycemic ingredients such as peas and potatoes. Definitely costs more, but every one of my 6 animals love it and are doing really well. Highly recommend.

Fred and Ginger love this Boar & Apple food!

    By on

My two young Tuxedo cats absolutely love this food, and their coats are like shiny black silk since they've been eating it. Our two Russian Blues, Cato and Purry Meowson, are also devouring it. My husband and I are thrilled! If you knew how many bags of cat food we've bought, only to have it be met with disdain by at least two out of four cats. This stuff is the Holy grail! All four cats eat it, and it's actually good for them. P.S. The Ziplock on the bag is fine. Even if it weren't, who really cares? As devoted cat lovers with enough intelligence to earn a decent living (probably an understatement, considering the price of this cat food) we are certainly capable of finding creative My two young Tuxedo cats absolutely love this food, and their coats are like shiny black silk since they've been eating it. As devoted cat lovers with enough intelligence to earn a decent living (probably an understatement, considering the price of this cat food) we are certainly capable of finding creative solutions to cat food storage. My "freshness hack" is as follows: I cut off the top of the bag as the contents diminish, roll the bag tightly to minimize any air inside, and secure the bag with a large binder clip. My husband injured his hand last year, and I discovered binder clips while modifying everything in the pantry to accommodate his temporary one-handedness. Since then, I use them on everything! Cheap as chips, and better than chip clips. Are cat food clips a thing? If not, they should be. … more

My picky cat loves this food

My cat is usually finicky when it comes to good quality kibble. She LOVES this Boar and Apple recipe. She seems to be getting a shinier and softer coat after I switched to this food!

    My two boys love it!

    By on

I switched to N and D last summer. After checking the background of the company and the product, I ordered the Boar and Apple. The boys loved it. One is so finicky about his food. But had no issues.

Very High Quality and My Cats Like it.

    By on

I did quite a bit of research after first seeing this product. I was very impressed! No recalls, company in business since 1965, works along with an Italian University on various animal nutritional studies and has actually produced scientific papers on the subject. Meets tougher EU standards for pet food. The smell and texture is also different from any other dry food I have tried. I am very impressed and my boys seem to like it. I believe they also put nitrogen (inert) in the bag before it is sealed to assure the freshness of food. I would definitely recommend this food and there are many varieties to choose from.

    All 3 love this

I didn’t know how this would go over. They usually prefer fish flavors. But it is s huge hit. First time I bought the small bag. Then I had to buy the 11 lb bag. Looks like I’ll be buying it again.

Great Cat Food, Excellent ingredients and the cats go crazy for this food.

    By on

Great cat food. My cats act like I am feeding them canned cat food when I feed them this. Just be warned. Once you try this cat food you can't go back to the cheap cat food. They will turn their noses up at the other cat food.

    Outstanding Quality Food

    By on

I have had my cats on this for a few months now and this is the only food that they will eat. They are very picky cats so that says a lot. I'm looking forward for them to release their Quail flavor as that was another big hit.

*This review is for the PACKAGING, NOT the food*

    By on

My cats absolutely love Farmina. They’re getting picky in their old age, and they adore this food, it’s a great food and I’m ecstatic about it. HOWEVER, the ziplock on the bag is useless. I had to cut it off in order to open it, and now I have to purchase a container to put the food in. This food is too pricey for such shoddy packaging. Change the packaging, and it is literally the PERFECT food.

    Both cats love this food!

    By on

I highly recommend this quality high protein kibble-both my cats love it. I do not have the same experience with the packaging issue that the other customer did-was able to open several packages and they re-seal tightly to keep food fresh.
