This product is LOVED by my dogs. The natural ingredients make me very happy to give this to my dogs. With 4 dogs, its really difficult and expensive to feed them this type of food for full meals, so we use this as a topper. Out of all the toppers we have done, this is for sure their favorite. The kibble size is perfect for all of the dogs. We have also used it as a training type treat which went over very well (especially during nail trimming time).

The square shaped kibbles aren't as soft as freeze-dried, but not as hard as extruded & baked kibble, or exactly consistently tough either. Just all different... I tried to soak them for my older dogs, but they didn't absorb much or soften any. Ended up grinding them up in my food processor & using them as a powdered topper on their freeze-dried kibbles. The boys all seemed to like the taste though. Had one dog trying to swallow them without chewing & threw them back up whole! That's when I decided to grind them up. The ingredients looked real good & the boys didn't have any issues after I gound the squares up, but I won't purchase it again.

I used these as training treats instead of a full meal. The texture and size are perfect—easy to handle, not messy, and they don’t leave a strong smell on your hands. It’s actually perfect for tracking since they’re smaller in size, have a softer texture, and enough of a scent to be appetizing without sticking to your hands. The bag reseals well and has stayed fresh after a couple weeks. Both dogs were happy to eat them, and I’d definitely consider buying them again for training, especially because they’re allergy-friendly for my more sensitive stomached dog.
