Fly spray really doesn’t work that great, I’ve used it in the past and thought it did fine, but this time it didn’t really help with flies at all. I like the smell,

Farnum: Wonderful products, bad shipping packing!

I received my auto ship of horse feed and Horse fly spray today but they were packaged together!! Yes, the fly spray was in a plastic bag with zipper- like enclosure

I received my auto ship of horse feed and Horse fly spray today but they were packaged together!! Yes, the fly spray was in a plastic bag with zipper- like enclosure that popped open during shipping due to the pressure of the other heavy contents of the box. I absolutely love Farnam Equisect fly spray and won’t use anything else on my horses. But I wouldn’t expect to receive horse food and fly spray all in the same package. This time it didn’t work out too well. One of the two pack of fly spray was packaged with a 50lb bag of horse senior feed horse food and the other horse fly spray was packed in the other box delivered same time in the same box alongside a 30lb bag of Horse Balancer food. Both zipper bags burst open, under the weight of the horse food, the fly spray contents were squeezed out into the cardboard shipping box and now both feed bags are very wet and soaking through. I auto ship these products and feed to be timed to arrive as I need them to make my life here on the farm a little easier. This has only added to my work. Because we did not realize the boxes were wet until we put them on the wooden floor in the entryway of the living room to open and dispose of the cardboard, I now had a big mess to clean up upon opening. I had to clean up the fly spray off my wooden floors, remove the wet boxes,etc.. and carry these fly chemical soaked 50lb bags of feed and throw them into the trash bins to await trash day. What a waste of products and provisions and energy. Who packed these boxes? Did they not watch the “packaging of products to be shipped” training videos?? I love Chewy, the products and their customer service, but my advise to anyone who does auto ship shopping is to definitely set up your auto ship products at different times to be delivered on different weeks so you don’t run into this issue. For example: Fly spray every two weeks, food every three weeks. This way you are not dependent on the people who are packaging to have to think “outside the box” per se. Don’t take it for granted it will be shipped in proper/safe packaging. Good luck!

It's okay.

This spray lasts about 20 minutes - so useful for a farrier's visit or some other event of very short duration.

damaged shipment

The bottles were placed in cheap zip lock bags, but not secured in the box. Spray bottles do not hold up when slammed around the shipping box with heavier objects and the zip lock bags do not contain the liquid. Exterior box was soaked, the box containing the wormer was also soaked. luckily wormer is in plastic tube and I could salvage it.
