I purchased this cat tree after a lot of comparison with other models, and overall, I’m happy with the choice. Pros - Easy to assemble - it took me about 30 minutes on my own, no extra tools needed, and the instructions were clear. --Both of our adult cats loved it right away, especially for scratching and climbing. --The top two perches are their favorite spots, the seats are cushioned and high enough that kids or guests can’t easily reach them, which the cats seem to appreciate. Concerns: The posts are a bit thinner than those on our previous cat tower, which makes me wonder about long-term durability. --The hideout boxes are supported by posts in each corner rather than being fully lined with solid material, so if you have cats that like to shred fabric, this could be an issue. --There’s a slight wobble when our cats, about 10 lbs each, jump on and off. It hasn’t tipped or caused a problem, but it’s less solid than our last (although shorter) tree. --The hanging basket is still being “tested” by our cats, they haven’t fully decided if they trust it yet. If you’re looking for a tall, budget-friendly cat tower, this is a solid option. It’s sturdy enough for average sized cats, provides plenty of scratching and lounging space, and the price makes it a good value despite a few stability concerns.
