My dogs refuse to eat food with Panacur, the powder used to kill round worms. The only other option was on Chewy. They compounded the Fenbendazole into a chicken flavored liquid, and while it was much more expensive than Panacur, my dogs ate their food with this drug layered on top.
The compounded dosage and flavoring made this easier to give my large cats. The non-compounded dosage was way too much liquid to try to get down my cats.
This medicine works just as good as the name brand but you may want to buy a different syringe then the one that comes with it
My review is mainly of the dropper. If you're going to feed your pet this medicine, buy a better one, because this one doesn't work. It frequently got stuck, and when I was finally able to press it, the medicine squirted out with way too much force. Pretty much tortured our poor kitty with this thing until we realized the dropper was totally defective. Had no issues once we bought a new one.
Chewy kept in touch with me about processing and delivery as this is a compounded medication. It came quickly and was packaged very securely. Thanks for the instructions on administration too. My cat tolerated the medicine.
