Fera Pets kindly gave me this Dental Support Powder Supplement for Dogs & Cats for free so that I could review it. Unfortunately, my picky cats would not eat their food when this was added to it. I tried for a few days, slowly adding just a little bit of the powder at a time to their meals, but they all turned their noses up at it. When you open the jar, don't be surprised to see it is only half full, this is intentional and still has the full 60 servings. There is also a plastic scoop included, which is helpful. I'm sad my cats wouldn't try it, because the ingredients look great, and I'm always looking for ways to help my cats dental hygiene!

I’ll be honest: the smell was a little fishy when I first opened it, and it definitely threw me off at first. That said, once I started mixing it into my dog’s food, she got used to it pretty quickly and now eats it with no issue. After a couple weeks of consistent use, I noticed her breath was fresher and teeth looked a bit cleaner, especially around the gumline. Super easy to sprinkle on meals, and way less stressful than trying to brush her teeth (my poor fingers!). Taking off one star only because picky eaters might not be a fan!

I was so excited for this to help with my cats' oral health. My cats all sniffed the open jar and seemed interested, so I was hopeful. But once I mixed the powder into their wet food, they all stopped eating after a few bites. I was able to mix in some Churu treats to get them to eat their dinner, but I definitely feel like this isn't an item that most picky cats will refuse. I have been able to get them to eat their dinner with this mixed in by reducing the recommended amount. They seem to tolerate it now. But don't think I will be repurchasing again and will try something different next time.

We’ve been using this dog dental powder for both of our dogs and have been really happy with the results. It’s easy to add to their food and they don’t seem to mind it at all. The biggest win was at our recent vet visit our vet actually complimented how clean their teeth looked, which was great to hear. We’ve noticed less buildup and fresher breath overall. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is that it does take a little consistency to see results, but once it kicks in, it definitely works. Would absolutely recommend for maintaining dental health between cleanings.

I was so excited to try this out as I haven’t been on it with oral care for my babies so I am now realized that these babies are pretty much human and must have their teeth cared for. I was so happy that both of my dogs seemed to not notice I mixed this in their food so that part was easy lol! I have noticed that their breath doesn’t stink anymore!!! Yea!! I am so happy to continue using this and see more benefits like the tarter control for example. I love that I can give this to my little Maltese since he is a senior dog and gives me a very hard time with brushing his teeth.

Great product, but the instructions need work. I’ve been giving this to my Labradoodle and Aussie Doodle for two weeks and their dental health has definitely improved. However, the label only provides dosage by weight and doesn't specify the application method. Thanks to other reviewers, I found out it should be sprinkled on their meals. It’s been a perfect addition to our regular brushing routine!

I did receive FERA Dental Powder to try and give my review. I took ownership of a 7 year old lab/American pit with very poor oral hygiene. I have tried other dental products before with little success. I do think this helps with his breath and I plan on using longer to get the full effects of the product. But so far I am pleased with the supplement and would recommend it to any pet owner who's dealing with oral issues.
