Is there a way to get the leash out of the housing. My 7.5# razor tooth, old gal, chewed right through the leash and it retracted, never to be seen again! Loved until then. Please let me know if it is salvageable!

It says DO NOT OPEN housing because it has a tightly wound spring innit. You’re supposed to send it in to be repaired, but I don’t know where!

The light is impossible.

There’s no real rhyme or reason on how that light goes on. You can tap it 10 times and nothing happens or accidentally brush it against your hip and it lights up

There’s no real rhyme or reason on how that light goes on. You can tap it 10 times and nothing happens or accidentally brush it against your hip and it lights up like Christmas. It’s impossible. But the leash is fine. Just don’t expect the light to work. Initially I thought it was just the one I bought and contacted Chewy that it was defective. No worries, they sent a replacement. That was great. Not great, the new one was just as bad.

The battery does not last long at all, also it takes several slaps to the side before it will turn on or off , I have had this retractable for 3 months , the longer

The battery does not last long at all, also it takes several slaps to the side before it will turn on or off , I have had this retractable for 3 months , the longer I have it it more slaps it need and also harder slaps to the side so hard in fact that it hurt my hand and I no longer use it when it is dark, I bought a small flash light. You should strongly re think before you purchase this item. This 40 dollar retractable now sits in the bottom of a drawer I would not even donate it.

Such a Great Leash

It’s darker earlier snd lighter later. This lighted leash helps us be seen and to see (she’s 12). Feels good in my hand. Charged fast! Highly recommend!
