Great slip lead

I help with volunteer transports. Protocols require a slip lead & a regular clip leash because some dogs we transport are anxious & scared. This works well on medium

I help with volunteer transports. Protocols require a slip lead & a regular clip leash because some dogs we transport are anxious & scared. This works well on medium and large to giant breeds and it is reflective so it is easy to find in a dark car.

slides down too easily

My trainer suggested a slip lead. It should stay high on his neck but this lead kept sliding down to collar level. I bought the 1/2" so I think it may be too thick

My trainer suggested a slip lead. It should stay high on his neck but this lead kept sliding down to collar level. I bought the 1/2" so I think it may be too thick for it to stay up. Quality is excellent. But not useful for what I intended to use it for.

Great quality slip leash

I agree with others who said the leather stopper was not useful on the lead, I ended up cutting it off and just put a knot in the leash to be the stopper to prevent

I agree with others who said the leather stopper was not useful on the lead, I ended up cutting it off and just put a knot in the leash to be the stopper to prevent the lease from slipping all the way down and off my Bubba’s head. Other than that this leash been holding up great! I definitely recommend watching videos or asking your veterinarian how to use a slip lead before purchasing if you’re not familiar with slip leads. This is a Training Tool, not just a regular leash. If misused, you can cause damage to your dog’s throat, so keep that in mind. To others who are looking for a slip leash that can hold up with a 50lb. - 99lb. dog this is a winner, mine hasn’t frayed yet and still going strong

Handy

I keep these in all the vehicles, by the front, back doors, and garage. Never know when I need o e in a hurry. Occasionally we have a stray dog in the neighborhood

I chose the Teal or Green, whatever they call the color for my black/brown Doberman. The leash is fat & soft enough to work well. Fits & works like a chain but kinder

I got this leash to use for training, specifically the leash pop method. It's a really nice quality leash but unfortunately it's too big for our 13lb dog. I wouldn't

I got this leash to use for training, specifically the leash pop method. It's a really nice quality leash but unfortunately it's too big for our 13lb dog. I wouldn't recommend this leash be used on a dog smaller than a 35-40lb dog because the diameter of the leash limits the size of the part that acts as a collar. I think it's a great leash for larger dogs.
