This product can be fed to juvenile bearded dragons.

Got these for my beardie and he loves them but they got moldy within a few days... how can I make them last more that 3 days so that I am not wasting another can :-( ?!Thanks!
Answer by ChewyFeb 18, 2021
After this food is opened, it needs to be refrigerated and placed in a low moisture area. It will last about a week once opened.

Not for birds

I was hoping the injured blue jay I am caring for would eat these to save me from searching outside for live ones. I tried giving them to him several times but he was not interested. Two weeks after openning the can, I threw them away assuming they were no longer good. The can needs to have an experation date and/or information regarding how long they are good for once the can is openned.

Makes a great salad topper for bearded dragons

I use these on days that my bearded dragons don't get live insects. I mine are adults so they eat more veggies and fruits then insects. So this is a nice little addition to their salads.

Dragon food supreme

Pikachu our beardie (My 3 y/o named him) loves these. As soon as he saw them he took it right out of my hand. Will be ordering more for sure to fatten him up a bit. Super convenient to get these instead of live insects.

Too-Loo-La loves Fluker's Grasshopper and the worms

Too-Loo-La loves the grasshoppers and the worms. She will back away from the Shrimp. She is not happy about those. I am getting a French Bulldog for Christmas so I will be requesting what kind of food would you recommend? Merry Christmas and Happy Yapper Year. Hope it will be better than 2020 and 2021.

Backup Food

My adult beardie loves these. I only have them on hand because they store nicely unopened & are great for when the pet store is out of live food. I do not make these as part of his regular diet but they are used as a backup.

My lizard loves them :)

Insects have been hard to come by because of COVID, so for now I have to feed the canned stuff. I chose this over freeze dried because of the moisture content. They come as whole intact grasshoppers. They didn’t smell too bad, kinda like wet cat food. My guy loves the stuff!

With COVID we have been struggling to find bugs for our bearded dragon so I found these and thought i would try them even though I dreaded opening the container. Our dragon seems to eat them and no issues so far! Also ir doesnt smell horrible or overly strong!

Yummy in my tummy

My hens loved these. I was afraid they would stink after opening & it would take days to feed them, but they didn't stink up the room & my girls went after them like they were alive.
