My Leopard Gecko is a very picky girl. She is quick to turn her nose up to many things. I was apprehensive to order these as a substitute for her normal diet of live crickets and small meal worms. She has been eating them, but is hesitant to do so. She definitely prefers the smaller ones. Which is why I am giving this four stars as the container has many larger sized meal worms. Overall, I am satisfied with the product, and will definitely keep these in hand as a substitute.
Working for us!

My 4 turtles don’t seem to care for the dried mealworms so I thought I’d try Fluker’s . . . And they really seem to like them. Nice to have another option.
Great product. Not just for reptiles.

These are not alive, but feel just like they are. Not dried, moist. I bought these for my two Sugar Gliders. One will eat almost anything, while the other is rather picky. Both loved these. My hamsters even loved them. Can is a little over 2 inches wide I'd say, but its packed full of worms.
hedgehog ate it

They keep well enough. My hedgehog loved these; he would make a fuss if i didn’t give him any when i take him out of jis cage.
Perfect for my Bearded Dragon

I’ll just get right to it:
No, the mealworms are not alive. As someone who doesn’t have reptile shops nearby, it’s very convenient to have the canned worms on hand. My beardie was hesitant to eat them at first but after trying one he absolutely loves them. Perfect for hand feeding because the worms won’t wriggle out of the tweezers and fall.
If you’re looking for live worms this is not the product for you.
My Bearded Dragon loves these!

Moist and loved by my beardie. I buy these often. I would recommend to anyone with bearded dragons.
They are dead
on Jan 18, 2020
I brought and recieved these for my leopard gecko, thinking they might be alive. NOPE! They were covered in an oil type substance and were not alive. I even let them come to room temperature (because it's January and cold when delivered). They still did not revive. I do not recommend unless you ARE LOOKING FOR DEAD MEALWORMS.

Great for Geckos

These are a great substitute when my local worm suppliers are out of mealworms. They are a nice size for my leopard gecko to munch on. Dont keep as long as live ones, but great in a pinch. My gecko favors these over dried.
These are NOT live worms
on Dec 8, 2019
I’ve been reading the reviews and several have commented that the worms they received were dead. And even more funny someone said there’s were alive. Lol
If you read the information you will find that they are not live bugs. They are an alternative to live feeding. It would be nice if they lasted longer and don’t forget to refrigerate.
