  • Worms were dead

    By on

I've always been very happy with my dog treats and toys from Chewy but recently I bought meal worms and they were all dead when they arrived. Most of the reviews I read complained of the same problem. However, there is a meal worm shortage and I was desperate. I will continue to use chewy for my dog products, I just won't be buying "live" bugs anytime soon.

  • Disappointed

    By on

My little guys wouldn’t eat them. I thought since it didn’t say dried they where live ones. To my disappointment they where not live. Would not recommend this product.

  • The worms were dead

    By on

The worms were dead when we received. Our geckos only eats live food, so I would not recommend for geckos.

  • Yummy worms!

    By on

The makeup of these canned worms compared to live worms seems to be about the same? Both the Crested Gecko and Leopard Gecko go crazy for them and it makes for less hassle with shipping live insects in Florida heat.

  • Need refrigeration?

    By on

The container did not clearly label refrigerate so we left on shelf. There was quite a bit of moisture in and it molded and we had to throw away. I am not sure if refrigeration is recommended or why there was moisture.

  • Not Good, Rancid when opened. We weren't able to use them.

Rancid when we opened the container, so we couldn't give them to our pet rats.

  • Bad for lizards

    By on

All lizards that eat insects need live ones. Afte r I bought this, I learned live are much better, and I threw it away. Might be good for other animals, but not mine. Sorry for the hate

  • Mealworms In Can

    By on

After a couple of days they got really nasty and had to be thrown away. I liked that they weren't freeze dried but apparently they do not last very long.
